So, i'm re-posting/editing them as well as showing off the newest additions to the set.So, here are my Valkyrie cards (again), but better than ever.I will also continue to add in new cards for this set from time to time. I only skimmed through it as I'm going to sleep, but I can say I've seen nothing like it. Any idea on what you'd name this type of card if it had a layout similar to Pendulum monsters (with the Spell effect in its own box?) The major issue is that you will most likely normal summon a Monster , make it the field spell, realize you are out of plays and place a few backrow and pass turn. Point is - you have no powerplay, no wincondition, no goal, so playing this as pure variant seems impossible. Was it planned to be that way? I thought of putting in a few win condition cards, but I thought that since there are a few decent cards, I decided to neglect the set these cards their "secret weapon" card. i may end up reconsidering this choice. But, if the Valkyrie monster happens to be Torchbearer, then no they wouldn't be destroyed, as her new effect applies when she moves to the field zone and doesn't "disolve" until she returns to the monster zone.Also, you could activate a card like Bottomless Trap hole to a Valkyrie moving to the monster zone from the field zone, as it would be treated as a Special Summoning and, a card like Solemn Judgement to negate the activation of the "Now treated" spell card. XD Anyway onto the archetype itself. I think the field spell idea is really really cool! It kinda reminds me of Crystal Beasts. I just have a few questions on the concept: If the monster is returned to the field from the Field Spell Zone, would it be considered a Special Summon? Also, does Valkyrie Imperial Guard keep its Xyz materials when it goes the Field Spell Zone? Also, a lot of your cards are super balanced! I just kinda have a problem with some: Battle Maiden's Lyric does WAY too much damage. It has the same effect as Secret Barrel as well as an additional one similar to Dark Strike Fighter. I feel like if you reduce the damage from both effects (400-500 for the first one and 100-200 for the second, perhaps?), I think that would work. This is just a personal opinion, but I feel like Ancestral Heritage stays on the field for way too long, considering its powerful effect. I think changing it to 3 Standby Phases will fix it. I feel like Valkyrie Imperial Guard should have a slightly lower attack. Maybe something like 3000 or 2800? With some of the boost cards that you have made, it could go to 4700 or even 5000+ atk the way it is now. :) I feel like Valkyrie Skypriest's ATK should be raised only slightly. Maybe 1000 or 1200? A "Valkyrie" monster returning from the Field Spell Zone to the Monster Zone acts as a Special Summon. I just couldn't write the effects of the cards that way because it was going to be too long to put on the cards themselves.Yes to the second question. "Valkyrie Imperial Guard" would keep her Xyz material monsters as her effect to inflict her 3000 damage requires both to be treated as a Field Spell card and to remove the Xyz material monters.
