The effect(s) of monsters destroyed by this effect, except Beast-Type monsters, cannot be activated. If this card is destroyed, you can destroy all Pendulum monsters in each player's Pendulum Zone(if any). Then, place this card in an open Pendulum Zone you control(if possible).

You can only activate 1 "Bear Call" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

Funny thing is that when it mentions a "Cub" monster, it can include Vylon Cube, just saying though. So basically they each represent a summon like Xyz and Synchro but why Pendulum? Is there supposed to be another monster for the other half of the arc? But the monsters are basically saying that they Special Summon each other in order to get their better versions out but beware, Level 4 Tuners are rare and can be used to get other Level 8 Synchros out like Stardust Spark and Crimson Blader as such. Combo it with a Goblindbergh or Summoner Monk, and you can start of a combo like this:

 

Start out with Goblindbergh to summon Summoner Monk. Discard 1 Spell Card and Special Summon Arctic-Nose Cub, then Synchro Summon with it and one of the others for a Level 8. Since it was used as a Synchro Summon you can Special Summon 1 "Cub" monster from your Deck plus you get to return up to 2 Spell/Traps that can't be chained, unless the Synchro Monster bear gets Solemn Warning or Notice. Next you can Xyz with your remaning 2 Level 4 for some Rank 4.

 

Quite a combo that can possibly get rid of cards you don't want out of the field. I think these are great cards but know that Bear Stack, when Special Summoning monsters from the Extra Deck not through their actual Summoning conditions will leave them unusable after they leave the field (except to the Extra Deck), since they weren't Summoned through their own conditions. Just a heads up.

It would only be TCG names that would get funked over like this, because otherwise...

カブ -> Cub

キューブ -> Cube

三日月リング・カブ -> Crescent-Ring Cub

ヴァイロン・キューブ -> Vylon Cube

'Course, cards like Cube did slip my mind. So if/when I get around to it, I'll just add 'Beast-Type' to every instance of 'Cub'.

Or whatever. I mean, it's not like Vylon Cube synergizes with these anyway.

 

but why Pendulum?

The other 2 return to the Extra Deck/you are supposed to always be able to Summon them. Or whatever. The flavor of this Archetype lies in the fact it's an obveious reference to We Bare Bears; Grizz(Full-Ring, in this case) is the main bear. So obveiously he would do the most work/why he is a Pendulum; He can help Summon the others this way, for example.

 

Is there supposed to be another monster for the other half of the arc?

Bujins only have 1 Pendulum monster. Sometimes it's just like that. And other times it's for concept/flavor/etc.

 

Level 4 Tuners are rare

Rose, Warrior of Revenge; Can be continuously searched/recycled with Igknights, and it's a Level 4 Tuner

Debris Dragon; Over abundance of Dragon support, and it's a Level 4 Tuner

Top Runner; Searchable by Gear Gigant X, but it's useless otherwise, and it's a Level 4 Tuner
