  1. 1. Do you support Euthenasia?

    • Euthenasia, as medically assisted death is acceptable.
    • Euthenasia should be implimented with force under certain circumstances. (supporter of regulated death)
    • Horribly immoral, even for people on their deathbed

I say no, because as medicine advances, it realizes that it can put the old people to work selling its prescription diabetes drugs.

Thats just an excuse to get their money, the money they spend on drugs is better off in the hands of their descendants than the government, and they are better off out of their misery.

Sorry, there is a bit of an error in my post. It should say "...people to work by selling..."

Does that make my point a bit clearer?

It really is sort of a strange topic' date=' though, as an older person might say they want to die, but only because they are delirious or not in their right mind at the time.

If you're talking about mandatory euthanasia, then I think if things get bad enough then it should be set.

By manditory, I meant that every human being should be killed when they reach a certain age, because people tend to lose the ability to function when they get older, plus, who needs to live more than 70-75 years anyway?

I think I read it with the "by" in there anyway. I knew you didn't mean they work for the FDA ripping off other old people. Plus, people should come to accept death anyway, this couldn't possibly hurt someone who understands life for what it is.

The thing about that, though, is we might lose a lot of experience in the process. I see a ton of stupid kids even now, and not having wise elders to look up to would make them even more brain-dead. Then again, there's also the possibility that this wont even be the case.

Well, let's say that euthanasia WAS made a legal practice. Who decides what age is the cutoff? And would they be able to make exceptions based on the health of the individual?

You have a point, but I will say that some non-elderly should be put to death as well. Thing is, not every elder should be, its honestly the ones who don't contribute to society anymore.

It's because you agreed. I didn't, so naturally I got into the discussion by actually, you know, discussing.

I'm 14. What do you think?

And allow me to clarify.

If you are OVER 75, on welfare/Medicare, and lacking a job, then you die.

I'm the kind of person who's heartless enough to say that wars are good for us as a whole because it decreases population. Maybe we should just send to old people in to the war amongst a special division meant purely for distraction? lol

Well, at least this way we don't lose possibly useful members of society.
