Union Monsters need love quickly and desperately, so I wanted to feed them a bit.

Unity Enforcer - Nyx

DARK Warrior LV 3

Pendulum/Union

Scale: 2/2

Pendulum Effect: You can destroy 1 card in your Pendulum Zone; add 1 Union Monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use the Pendulum Effect of "Unity Enforcer - Nyx" once per turn.

 

Monster Effect: If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 Union Monster in your Graveyard; equip it to this card. Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 face-up monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it. While equipped by a "Unity Enforcer" card effect, the equipped monster cannot be targeted by an opponent's card effect. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, you can destroy this card instead.)

 

 

Unity Enforcer - Io

Pendulum Effect: During the Main Phase this card was placed in the Pendulum Zone: You can add 1 Union Monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use the Pendulum Effect of "Unity Enforcer - Io" once per turn.

 

Monster Effect: If all monsters you control are Union Monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand or Graveyard). Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 face-up monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR; Unequip this card and Special Summon it. While equipped by a "Unity Enforcer" card effect, the equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle twice per turn. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle, you can destroy this card instead.)

Unity Enforced Unification

Normal Spell

Effect: Add 1 Union Monster from your Deck to your hand. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to your Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Union Monster from your Deck.

 

Deft Unity

Quick-Play Spell

Effect: Discard 1 Union Monster; Special Summon 1 Union Monster from your Graveyard. You can only activate 1 "Deft Unity" per turn.

 

Devotion Unity

Quick-Play Spell

Effect: Destroy 1 Union Monster you control, then target 1 other card you control; that target cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects until the end of the next turn. You can only activate 1 "Devotion Unity" per turn.

 

Unified Attack

Continuous Spell

Effect: At the start of the Damage Step, if a monster you control attacks or is attacked while equipped with a Union Monster: Your opponent cannot activate monster effects until the end of the Damage Step. All Union Monsters and monsters equipped with a Union Monster you control gain 300 ATK and DEF.

Effect: If a monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect: Special Summon 1 Union Monster from your hand or Deck.

 

Union Follow-Up

Continuous Trap

Effect: If a monster you control destroys an opponent's monster by battle or effect while equipped with a Union Monster: You can Special Summon that equipped Union Monster. Once per turn: You can send the bottom card of your Deck to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 Union Monster from your hand or Extra Deck.

Unity Enforcer - Hermes

Effect: 2 Union Monsters

All Union Monster effects can be activated during either player's turn. Once per turn: You can discard 1 "Unity" Spell Card; equip 1 Union Monster from your Deck to this card.

 

Unity Enforcer - Theseus

Fusion/Effect

Effect: 2 Union Monsters

All monsters you control can be equipped with more than 1 Union Monster at a time. Once per turn: You can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, then target 1 face-up monster you control; equip 1 Union Monster to that target from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

 

 

 

 

I feel like the Main Deck monsters are kinda like a big gigantic wall of text. But that's the best I can really shorten it. If you know a way (following PSCT of course) to shorten them, please tell me.

Yay, old subtypes~

 

This is super cool. I love how you gave the old cards new support (which is very much needed). The quickplay spells add pivot to the deck, and are creatively designed to accent the strengths of union monsters.

I like your idea of bringing Union Monsters back. The ideas for the Extra Deck monsters are particularly good and if Unions ever do return then I can only see it happening with similar Extra Deck monsters to your ones. The only errata I can spot is the effect of Devotion Unity should go something like this "Destroy 1 Union Monster you control, then target 1 other card you control; that target cannot be targeted or destroyed by other card effects until the end of the next turn. You can only activate 1 "Devotion Unity" per turn." It's gotta be "other card effects" or it couldn't be targeted by that one (I think!).

Love the idea though :)
