Maikeru D. Shinigami
I got bored and decided to try my hand at this archetype creation thing.I had some other ideas like going with Zelda or Catherine, but decided on Phoenixes. And when I thought of it, I was like, well they always come back, like pendulums. So, let's make them pendulums. Bare in mind I am very tired. I stayed up all night screwing around with this, it may not be up to par with some stuff. But I am down for feedback. [spoiler=Cards] Ashenmpyre GenesisFire/Winged Beast/EffectATK/DEF: 3000/20007 StarsScale: 1Pendulum Effect: You may destroy this card to add one face-up "Ashenmpyre" monster from your extra deck to your hand. Once per turn, when an "Ashenmpyre" monster you control inflicts battle damage, you may destroy that monster, and if you do, your opponent cannot activate card effects for the rest of the turn.Monster Effect: Once per turn, you may toss a coin and call it. If you call it correctly, destroy all cards on your opponents side of the field, and your opponent cannot activate card effects for the rest of the turn. If you call it incorrectly, destroy all monsters you control, and take 300 points of damage for each monster destroyed this way. If this monster is destroyed, you may add one "Ash" or "Enmpyre" spell/trap card from your deck to your hand. Ashenmpyre SolarisFire/Winged Beast/EffectATK/DEF: 2600/17006 StarsScale: 8Pendulum Effect: You may destroy this card to add one face-up "Ashenmpyre" monster from your extra deck to your hand. Once per turn, when an "Ashenmpyre" monster you control is destroyed, you may special summon one "Ashenmpyre" monster with a different name from your extra deck, to your side of the field, but its effects are negated.Monster Effect: When this monster is destroyed, you may place one "Ashenmpyre" monster from your deck face-up into your extra deck, and if you control a monster with the same name, that monster may make two attacks during this battle phase. You may only use this effect of "Ashenmpyre Solaris" once per turn. Ashenmpyre LuminoFire/Winged Beast/EffectATK/DEF: 2000/13005 StarsScale: 1Pendulum Effect: You may destroy this card to add one face-up "Ashenmpyre" monster from your extra deck to your hand. Once per turn, when an "Ashenmpyre" monster inflicts battle damage, you may destroy that monster, and if you do, add one "Ashenmpyre" monster with a different name from your deck to your hand.Monster Effect: When this monster is destroyed, randomly select one card in your opponent's hand; send that card to the graveyard, and if it is a monster, inflict damage to your opponent equal the difference between its defense and this monster's current attack. Ashenmpyre RyzeFire/Winged Beast/EffectATK/DEF: 1700/10004 StarsScale: 8Pendulum Effect: You may destroy this card to add one face-up "Ashenmpyre" monster from your extra deck to your hand. Once per turn, when an "Ashenmpyre" you control is destroyed, you may half the attack of one monster on the field, but it is unaffected by the effects of other spell/trap cards until the end of the turn.Monster Effect: During either player's turn, if a face-up "Ashenmpyre" monster you controlled was destroyed this turn, you may special summon this card from your hand, and if you do, it is unaffected by your opponent's card effects for the rest of the turn. Ashenmpyre SproutFire/Winged Beast/EffectATK/DEF: 1000/8003 StarsScale: 1Pendulum Effect: You may destroy this card to add one face-up "Ashenmpyre" monster from your extra deck to your hand. Once per turn, when an "Ashenmpyre" monster inflicts battle damage, you may destroy that monster, and if you do, banish one monster on the field until the end of the turn.Monster Effect: If this monster is destroyed and sent to your extra deck, you may special summon it to your opponent's side of the field. This card's controller takes 1000 points of damage during each of their standby phases. During either player's turn, while you control no spell/trap cards, you may special summon this monster from your extra deck to your side of the field. Ashenmpyre EmberFire/Winged Beast/EffectATK/DEF: 800/2002 StarsScale: 8Pendulum Effect: You may destroy this card to add one face-up "Ashenmpyre" monster from your extra deck to your hand. Once per turn, when an "Ashenmpyre" monster you control is destroyed, you may give one monster on the field the following effect: "When this card declares an attack, negate the effects of all other cards on the field until the end of the damage step, but the damage calculation for that battle uses each monster's original attack."Monster Effect: If this monster is destroyed, you may special summon one "Ashenmpyre" monster from your deck to your side of the field. Ashenmpyre VolcanoField SpellAll "Ashenmpyre" monsters you control gain 500 ATK and DEF. If this card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect, you may special summon one "Ashenmpyre" monster from your extra deck or graveyard, to your side of the field. While this card is face-up on your side of the field, "Ashenmpyre" monsters you control cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects. A New EnmpyreQuick-Play SpellYou may destroy one "Ashenmpyre" monster you control to special summon one "Ashenmpyre" monster with a different name from your deck to your side of the field. But no other monsters you control can attack for the rest of the turn. You can banish this card from your graveyard, except the turn it was sent; add one "Ashenmpyre" monster from your graveyard or your extra deck to your hand. From The AshesContinuous SpellOnce per turn, during either player's turn, you can place one "Ashenmpyre" monster from your hand to your extra deck face-up; add one "Ashenmpyre" monster with a lower level from your deck to your hand. When an "Ashenmpyre" monster you control is destroyed, you can special summon one "Ashenmpyre" monster that was added to your hand by this effect to your side of the field. Set Fire To The EnmpyreQuick-Play SpellWhen your opponent activates a card effect that would affect an "Ashenmpyre" monster on your side of the field, you may destroy one "Ashenmpyre" monster you control, to negate the effect, and if you do, banish that card. Burst Into AshesTrap CardDestroy one "Ashenmpyre" monster you control, and if you, add one "Ash" or "Enmpyre" card with a different name from your deck or graveyard to your hand. If this card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect, you play set one "Ash" or "Enmpyre" spell/trap card from your deck to your side of the field. LegoLord91
First off, these are awesome. I REALLY like them. Second off, they are also very, very, broken. But I believe that can be fixed with a universal "Once per turn" clause for both Pendulum & Monster effects. Let me paint a picture:You go first, and open JUST "From the Ashes" and "Genesis"1) Play Ashes, send "Genesis" to extra deck to search "Lumino"2) Play Lumino in your Pendulum Zone, destroy it to add back "Genesis". Lumino discards 1 card from your opponents hand.3) Play Genesis in your Pendulum Zone, destroy it to add back "Lumino." Genesis searches ANYTHING you want.4) Repeat steps 2 & 3 until your opponent has NO hand left and you searched 5 cards. Perhaps you forgot that when a Pendulum Monster is destroyed in the Pendulum Zone, it is treated as a monster being destroyed when it hits the extra deck. Perhaps you forgot that when a Pendulum Monster is destroyed in the Pendulum Zone, it is treated as a monster being destroyed when it hits the extra deck. I actually did forget that rule. And I was trying so hard to word it correctly so that it wouldn't be THAT broken, but also good enough to compete with everything else. I could just reword the monster effect to be like graydles "If this card in your monster zone is destroyed", as opposed to "if this monster is destroyed". But once per turn even then might be something worth thinking about.
