Cyber Altair
please GX, you would have never been able to accomplish what he does. he does so much of work and unlike you he doesn't just come to post. he has to deal with annoying people who come here to add YCM to thier troll list. Leave the guy do his job, he goes through hell to make the place better and he doesn't need to post so he gains respect, he got it since the moment the forum started. He currently updates the site nowadays, he added the debate section and also allowed uploading cards a simple task. Drop with the you dont care about your site. On CCC the site doesn't support us anymore, they just dont want to delete it after the requests we have given them, that site still run thanks to a few loyal members and moderators. YCM's end isn't close in a long shot. Just cause the guy deosnt post a lot and isn't active doesn't mean he doesn't do a lot to the site.
Careless Whisper
Alright, I'm going to state my point of view and leave it at that. If you disagree with the my opinion, then forget about it.________________________________________________________________________ I agree with Surpeme, YCMaker rarely takes care of the Forum, and TKill93 is basicly the last active Super Mod left. And not that there are also very few Active normal moderators as well. I may not have known God Kaze and the other Super Mod, but I do know FRUNK and TKill93 and both of them are respectful and very trustworthy, And I know that the reasons for any Super Mod to leave this forum are very good reasons. Same goes with the Normal Mods, I know DJ and Browerad(sorry for misspell) and I also know Crab Helmut. No I have had some arguements with DJ and Crab in the past, but I still trust the and they are good moderators. And if any of them leave this site, it'll be for good reasoning and nothing below that. YCM does need more Moderators and Super Moderators in order to survive it's current crashing state, I would mainly suggest having 6 Super Mods and 3 Normal Mods for each section. I couldn't care less about YCmaker doing his part for the Card Maker, I like that as it is, if he improves it, then woop-dee-doo, I rarely use the thing anyway. All I'm saying is that YCMaker needs to establish a system of 3 Mods per Section and an overall count of 6 super mods. That way the Forum i in check and YCmaker only has to deal with the Card Maker and any glitches in the forum. ___With that, I shall start a vote. All in favor of a new system of 3 Mods per section and 6 super mods, Say Yes. All who oppose, say no. (That is all)
MarbleZone
He can't prevent people from creating accounts, and nothing stops people from making new accounts after they are banned. Careless Whisper
Alright, cut it down to atleast 5 Super Mods, we have to have order around here. And with that many Super Mods, we can achieve that. And what are supposed to be in those stars

MarbleZone
He's not comparing himself to YCMaker and nobody's arguing with him for that. What some of us, and I personally, disagree with, is that he may be accusing YCMaker without fully grasping the extent of his role in this forum and dismissing the fact that he may have more urgent things to deal with in his life. Administrators Falling Pizza Posted April 9, 2008 Administrators Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 If getting new moderators was as simple as just getting new moderators, the forum would have 200+ moderators right now. It's not that YCMaker doesn't want new moderators, or that he doesn't know we need them, or that he isn't trying to get them, it's that it's EXTREMELY difficult to find good moderators, especially on a forum with this age-range where many of the members are not very mature. You can make all the suggestions you want, but ultimately, if he doesn't see any fit candidates then he can't just make untrustworthy people mods. For those of you who are wondering, the ideal moderator would be someone who doesn't get involved in arguments, isn't concerned with proving themselves or their supremacy, and has a good grasp of what their role is as a moderator. Some of the candidates I've seen thrown out there and supported absolutely do not fit that mold. Start acting mature and maybe we'll see some changes. Obi-wan Cannoli
Calm down. We have more mods than you think and YCM won't fall. The Slime Lord is the mod of this forum and he does an excellent job in addition he is on a lot. We have browarod, The Slime Lord, Dj Osiris, Crab helmet, Sanji The perverse and Tkill93. That is 7.2 active mods on the forum. (The point 3 is the occasional Frunk.) It is very hard to maintain a forum with so many members. For the CPU error, the amount of posts, members, images, and the Cardmaker itself takes up a ridiculous amount of CPU. What can he do about that. He's is not aloud to ban members without reason or stop people from posting. He can't stop new members from join because he might remove the chance of future awesome members. Every member that is great on this site started out as a new person and YCMaker can't take that away. With so many posts it is very hard to pinpoint who should be banned. The only thing you or him could do is Contribute Your own money to get a bandwidth upgrade. It is not possible for an adult to maintain a regular life and keep a forum that is huge updated a lot. The amount of PM's he gets aren't possible to read and not spend every our of the day on the computer. I doubt anyone on hear could read and reply to that many posts. People stop complaining about the Forum and stop making threads that pretty much say that you are leaving. There is a thread saying that you are leaving and you should have put your reason for leaving there. You complained about n00bs. A n00b is someone who doesn't fallow the rules and can't learn. Making this thread is a pretty Spammy and n00bish choice in my opinion. I can't believe I wrote that much...

Draco Straybyrn
* If you ban me' date=' tell someone to end my contest, am guessing that won't happen. So Tkill? * * I had enough * YCMaker, clearly you do not care about the fourm, at all. Yes, Mass PMs have gotten to your, when I had a forum with many members I used to get 1000+ PMs daily, yet I check them! Here I get 100+ and I still check even tho I am not a mod or anything close to it! Really, many people have had suggestion, yet no reply to them has been made. A "Yes" or "No" atleast, no, not even that. You just come online 5-10 min, update some things, name change ( rarley ) then leave. Tkill had to ban 17+ acc while waiting for your IP Ban req yet, no reply from you, I am guessing he has to go through hell. THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS BEEN RUNNING THIS FORUM IS FRUNK! Without him, well, the forum would have ended a loooong time ago. Now it's up to Tkill, Tkill leaves, YCM falls. You were so desprate, you never even asked the mods for mod ideas, yet asked the members, MEMBERS. Thank god the mod choice was good. People, give Tkill some chance to breath. Srsly, who cares about your Rep Count other than you. TKILL IF YOU CAN, MAKE MY REP COUNT 0, I HAVE HAD NO NEGS. YCMaker I relize your the only one that can update the card maker. Why have we had to wait SOOOOO long for the CPU error...etc..to go away! If you had been on 10 mins more, the CPU error would have been gone. The admin should have the highest post count or anything close, to show the forum he cares. Yet you don't. You have brought Glory to the Card Maker. Frunk has brough Glory to the Forum. If Frunk was an Admin, I doubt YCM would be close to falling. If you picked a wrong mod, YCM would not be here anymore.... I DID NOT PM YOU BECAUSE YOU NEVER REPLY!!! Abuse me all you want YCMers I don't care about your abuses or about you! * Goes and Calls Frunk XD *[/size'] You and I, we need to talk. I'll give you my IM info in a PM, if you desire. NP Sage
I hate to say this but, he's right. I was here a while before you all were. Not all of you but most of you. When Dan and Frunk worked together it was great. Then we started growing. Nothing was done. No mods were picked. Dan got fed up and left. So more people, and less mods. After a stint of chaos. New mods were picked. We continued growing Frunk, being the mod leader got fed up and left. We had no super mods. Dan appeared because a few caring people HUNTED him down. We got new supers. Dan left again. Now we have TSL and Tkill. I don't see God Kaze do squat. maybe he does, but I don't see it. I talked to Tkill. HE'S GETTING FED UP!Then we'll be down to TSL. He's great, but it's not a one man job. I regularly PM "YCM" I rarely get a reply.

The Slime Lord
I just happen to mod the section were the most spam happens. I don't ask for this section to get spammed up just so I can clean it up and look important :P. And now that the Debate Sub-Sub-Forum has been added, I'll have to mod there also... Or at least until YCMaker hopefully hires a mod or two for it. (Oh yeah, I don't want to be Super Mod. If I really have to, I'll do it, but I won't be too crazy about it). As for the end of YCM, not really. About 140 people join a day. Sure there are many n00bs out of the 140 that join, but every once in a while, people who actually know what they're doing join. Let's hope more of those people join. April just started, by May, hopefully about two or three "smart" members join.

Guest
Despite what some may think, I actually do a lot of silent moderating on this forum and can clearly see when and where additional mods are needed. Also, there are a few hidden moderators on this site that work behind the scenes to clean up some of the general mess. It's easy to make an all-encompassing statement like "we need more mods" in response to an influx of unfamiliar users, but as of right now the moderator workload is pretty evenly distributed and if any particular mod thinks otherwise they can PM me and I will go about fixing that.
