-INTERVIEW OF THE WEEK-

Q: How did you feel when YCMaker asked if you wanted to become a mod?

 

A: I felt really excited and really honored that he would pick me to be a mod. I also was a little unsure that I could handle it, but I think I'm doing pretty well

 

Q: How do you feel about the n00b invasion here?

 

A: I am saddened by it, and I wish that more of the new members were good, rule-abiding members. I only hope that more good members join soon.

 

Q: Do you think the other moderators are doing their jobs well?

 

A: Yes, I believe the moderation staff as a whole is doing a great job. I think that all the mods are competent and are very good at their jobs.

 

 

-FORUM NEWS-

- A new forum added

Yes there is a new forum added, the awaited Debate Forum. It has more topics, but that means more spam from more users. But Draco has said that there most likely is a MOD to it that sends the new topics to be approved by YCMaker or a mod to be posted. And so it resualts in less spam.

 

-CARD MAKER NEWS-

- A new Update

There is a uploader. It will automaticly upload your card to Image Shack.us and below the card you will see the link to your card at image shack and you can just fallow these VERY easy steps.

1) Copy the link below the card maker.

2) Go to REalistic Cards or 1 of the other's and press MAKE NEW THREAD

3) Paste link. Write Thread done.

The good thing is is that you don't have to put the IMG code, good thing for the lazy people. And good thing for the people who don't know the IMG code.

 

- Rep scamming will be broke down

YCMaker has now made a anouncment that he has made the ability to Rep to Members no longer new members. By making it so only people who have 25 posts or more can rep will majorly cut down the Rep spam. Mostly by about 25% - 50%. But that might not stop some people from spamming. wich will cuase more damage but less rep spamming.

 

- GENERAL NEWS -

 

- Another YCMaker hater

Another thread about Someone hating YCMaker again. But this time they claim YCM will end soon, Very soon. But alot of YCMer's have been saying different. Like me, I think YCMaker cares alot.

 

- A guide to earning reps (CREDIT TO Giga Hand)

1. Make good cards. I've only posted one and it got me rep.

2. Tell people what they did wrong with their cards. That's how they learn.

3. Post often. The more people see of you' date=' the more they get to know you.

4. Tell people if they made good cards. How would you like it if you made a great card, and noone told you?

That is what he posted. it is mostly true. but the 5th 1 is forward true.

 

- Multi Accounts from SoljaBoy, and now a Ban

He had multi Accounts as Dj had said 5+ Accounts. He is now Banned and his Reps Deleted Before the ban. We now have no more of soljaboy. and he is now Declared Banned. We had proof for he had over 2 accounts. He said some means stuff, then he came onto his "BOY2k78" But the Rep he gave him was this

Negative: You could get me banned you idiot

 

So Dj found that he had the same IP Adresses for 5+ Accounts, he is now Banned.

 

 

- DAJ Leaves

He just says he dosent want to be here anymore he just wants to leave.

 

- Azuh leaves YCM

One of the most known and 1 of the funniest members, a Elite Member, gone. He says he is basicly drowning in homework. So that means that Azuh has worse grades as he said from A standard to a C Standard. He says he can't cope anymore. And so another member leaves. Another 1 has gone.

 

- Azmania2260 is banned?!?

Azmania was banned early today as a resualt of Flaming twords a young member in a thread. He said "What a spam fest YCM has become" YCMaker banned him hiself. Azmania was just opening the YCM magazine again. He was banned as YCMaker was reading the thread. YCMaker has now locked the thread. I still don't know when he will be un-Banned.

- MyChemicalRahim Is now banned

Early on April 13, 2008 MyChemicalRahim was banned due to unknown reasons. I has been Azmania now MyChemicalRahim. I looked at who was online and found no Moderator or YCMaker on at the time. Even if he were to leave look at Frunk he still comes back once and a while. My conclusion is just like Azmania's ban, He flamed at YCM or did something for someone to get mad at him.

No he drew it based to look like it.

So you DON'T TELL ME THAT !!

IM NOT STUPID.

For f***ks sake.

- Azmania's back

I have saw' date=' and Azmania is back. I have PMed him nothing to see how he got banned, and asked him how and for how long did he get banned for. Was it just for a hour or something more longer. Did he do something wrong with words or the computer. I think it's becuase it is becuase of his flaming twords YCM. His ban langth was only 1 day he is now back and running his new Nwes articles.

Solja Boy is now back from his ban. We will follow this story all of this week.

If that was you making that how would respond to people getting mad?

 

I would just say to not take it seriously as its not intentially ment to be harsh, and if it is taken that way then they should just mention it, in a non-hot headed way.

 

If mare were to get banned soon how would you stick up for him?

 

I doubt it would come to that but if he was banned i would personally plead with the one who banned him, to unban him, as Mare was having just a bit of Fun, and i personally like Mare, hes to me one of the nicer and better members on this forum.

 

If it were Frunk that made it would you still get the joke, or recieve it better?

 

If Frunk made it i would feel the exact same, many members are obsessed with Frunk and believe if something is done by Frunk its obviously better, however im not a Frunk follower thus nothing Frunk does is any better or different to what other members do, in my eyes.

Sadly i am not one for whitty comments or good at funny insults without making myself seem childish, therefore i would just leave it be.

It doesn't matter if you don't think it's a good idea. It IS. Smart people have things to do, and the only thing wasting our time here was each other. So, we left. Get over it.

I realize there's a lot to do, but that's only if and when you have modifications to mess wit and update. All he has is the card maker, and that's self-sustaining. Updates are minor, few and far between, and lacking. Here's a quote from Frunk about this forum.

To cap it off, there is reportedly an invisible "Moderator's Forum", where the moderators are able to find out the inner workings of the Spambot YCM.

I'll think about it. Right now I'm on the "not sticky" side because this whole "YCM News/Magazine/Paper thing as been done a lot. None are that successful and die within a month.

 

As for Dj finding 5 multi-accounts, excellent for him, but I found over what seemed like a dozen LIAM WARDEN accounts. Of course I had some tips from other members, but about 12 accounts is more than 5.
