Guest BGMCANN0N
Element Transmigration Normal Spell Target 1 "Element" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. Immediately after this card resolves; declare 1 Attribute, the monster becomes that Attribute and gains 500 ATK. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For those of you who don't know what this exceedingly outdated archetype is here it is: Element If I wanted an old archetype to do well, this would be one of them. I mean look at these guys: their artwork and concept is amazing, yet they are left to dust inside peoples shoeboxes to be forgotten. I know this archetype is one of those that needs way more support in order to be competitive... Heck I've made 2 more cards for them based on attribute changing and a Field Spell that searches 1 them or 1 the "Element" monsters upon activation: just don't feel like sharing them atm. (working out their kinks) But, anywho what do you guys think these Element monsters need outside of attribute changes? Further more do you agree this card would help them
Trebuchet MS
It's a good card, but unfortunately the rest of the archetype isn't very good. Most of the time you find yourself calling FIRE so that the monster has a respectable ATK score, since every single one of them is 1500/1200. Guest BGMCANN0N
Well the thing is the card makes them go to 2000 ATK upon any Attribute choice so the Wind and Earth effect could be used as well (yeah I get it the Water effect is almost useless; I will try to make that attribute choice meaningful another time). I mean the thing that people overlook about the Earth effect is that it can puncture grave effs like Fire Hand, Ice Hand, and even graveyard effects that could be used later on after the cards were destroyed (e.g. Glow-Up Bulb and Damage Juggler). On top of that the effect can hit certain Pendulum monsters too since it isn't limited to needing the monster to hit the grave. In fact if I am keen on the ruling of Earth effect, the Pendulum monsters lose there effects for the duration of the duel. (Konami probably would need to give these guys an errata if they ever decide to give them a chance again, just to make it clear that is what the Earth effect does). And the Wind effect can be devastating too as it is a multiple attacking without needing your opponent to have more monsters to attack another time. There are also cards like Swamp Mirrorer and Quantum Cat that can get those other Attributes as well. (Yeah, I have actually played with the archetype.) Also, another thing to bear in mind is that you can go into XYZ plays with this. And as I said before I acknowledge they need additional support and not simply just this card alone. I am working on giving them a structure as we speak.
