Fusion X. Denver
I think it depends on the celebrity and what they're being reprimanded for.Do I think Drake Bell was stupid for his DUI arrest? Sure, but I still like the guy and I'm sure he'll wise up in the future. Same with Jim Carrey, I don't think I'd let a celebrity's opposing viewpoints to my own, no matter how nonplussing they are, affect my stance on their career and personality. But if you have a case like Bill Cosby, then you should expect my sentiments to change. VCR_CAT
I think people need to learn that you can't know a person from their media exposure or from kind of work they do that makes them famous, even if it's charitable work. The media only looks at what they want the public to see, or rather what the public wants to see. If any of you remember the Phil Fish crap that happened a long time ago, that's a prime example of people thinking they know a person simply because of what kind of media exposure they see the person get. Celebrities are people, just like you or me, and we need to scale our expectations accordingly.
