Dova
I've seen quite a few MST archetypes in my day. This is certainly...different. I get the feeling this was all made just to make MST negate. But, doesn't detract from the whole thing, so let's being! The entire archetype reminds me of TrapTrix, but is a little worse, due to the fact that only one of these cards can counteract monsters. But anyway, might make a nice group to run in meta decks, so I'll continue. Sorcerer has a nice effect, but unsure if he should be banishable the turn he went to the grave. The addition effect doesn't really ADD onto MST, so maybe this wording might work: "Negate the effects of the targeted card as well" In order to specify which card. Djinn is an interesting recycler, and works very well in combination with the other cards. Again, added effect might need some more specifying: "When this card destroys a Spell/Trap, you can destroy 1 monster on the field." Crusader....wow. Thought it was weak until I read the last card. Shame it can brick. Added effect is fine. Cyclone is the reason I thought specifying which effect is added onto would be best for the other monsters. Because you can basically pop a monster with the mill effect too with the current adding effects. Nice take on that classic card!
IQuitDolphin
Thanks for the suggestions. 1) Most of these cards are immensely searchable, unlike Traptrix, and it's really easy to get the engine going.2) Djinn was mostly meant to not target in the first place, so that's why it was worded as it is. The wording on Sorcerer allows any added effects to negate the card(s), such as an MST buffed with Djinn, so the monster's effect would be negated as well.3) I might consider letting Cyclone send from hand as well. New additionsMystical Space Shadow *3Spellcaster | Wind | Effect1600/300----When your opponent activates a card or effect: You can discard this card; Set 1 "Mystical Space" Spell/Trap card directly from your Deck. You can only use this effect of "Mystical Space Shadow" once per turn. During either player's turn: You can banish this card (from your Graveyard); this turn, "Mystical Space" Spell/Trap cards gain this additional effect. * Banish the card(s) instead of sending them to the Graveyard. Mystical Space WhirlwindTrap | Continuous----Once per turn: You can send 1 "Mystical Space" Spell/Trap card from your hand or Deck to your Graveyard, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy it. During the End Phase: Destroy this card, then add 1 "Mystical Space" monster from your Deck to your hand.
Dova
Djinn does not target with my effect: "When this card destroys a Spell/Trap, you can destroy 1 monster on the field." This is to specify which effect you are adding onto, as opposed to just "in addition" because then you can use it in combination with the continuous' Mill effect. Shadow as well: "Banish any cards destroyed by this card instead of sending them to the Graveyard." Why my wordings as opposed to all the other wordings you had? Let me explain. We have MST's normal effect: "Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target." Let's add your text: "Target 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field; destroy that target. Banish the card(s) instead of sending them to the Graveyard." Wording is iffy, but fine. Now, let's work with the continuous: "Once per turn: You can send 1 "Mystical Space" Spell/Trap card from your hand or Deck to your Graveyard, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy it. During the End Phase: Destroy this card, then add 1 "Mystical Space" monster from your Deck to your hand." Add your text? "Once per turn: You can send 1 "Mystical Space" Spell/Trap card from your hand or Deck to your Graveyard, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy it. During the End Phase: Destroy this card, then add 1 "Mystical Space" monster from your Deck to your hand. Banish the card(s) instead of sending them to the Graveyard." You seeing the problem? EDIT: New addition ----- Mystical Space Current Spell | Field ---- If you control no monsters: You can discard 1 "Mystical Space" card; Special Summon 1 "Mystical Space" monster from your Deck or Graveyard. During either player's turn: You can target 1 card on the field; destroy both it and this card, then send 1 "Mystical Space" monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. You can only use 1 "Mystical Space Current' effect per turn, and only once that turn.
