Ekan2077
Here you go ladies and gentlemen, the very first card from yours truly. Feel free to tear it apart, send me death threats,or simply kill it with fire. tl;dr warning (also comic sans) REWIRE : trap card / counter effect : When an effect that targets any of your monsters or cards in the field or the Graveyard or hand (Includes any return to Deck effects) that is triggered by a card your opponent controls, send a Machine-Type monster with 1000 ATK or less from either your hand or the field to the Graveyard : That effect affects your opponent instead. In the next Standby Phase after this effect resolves and this card is sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon the tributed monster to your side of the field in Defense Position. If you do,your opponent loses LP equal to the ATK of the monster Special Summoned by this effect in the Main Phase 1 in the same turn in which the second effect was activated. After this effect resolves, you cannot Special Summon nor activate any monster effects for the rest of this turn, and your opponent can attack you directly during the next Battle Phase after this effect resolves. shadowsapex
the ATK of the monster Special Summoned by this effect in the Main Phase 1 in the same turn in which the second effect was activated.W-what? What does that mean? What's the second effect, the one that resummons the monster? And why Main phase 1? The standby phase would do perfectly fine. And the restrictions? No special summons, no monster effects, you basically die next battle phase? I wouldn't accept anything less than winning the duel for those kinds of restrictions. They are completely unnecessary on this card, since it's already limited enough by the tribute requirements. The tribute requirements are too strict. You could have it send from deck, and remove the special summoning part. That would give it extra utility while not making it available to all decks. Having the effect affect the opponent wouldn't work. Since the effect targets, it really couldn't affect anything but its target, so the effect would basically fail to resolve. If you want to have them choose new targets, the effect would be worded an entirely different way, and many targeting cards specify 'an opponent's card', so it wouldn't be all that useful. Here's the OCG.If your opponent activates a card or effect which targeted a card in your hand, field, or Graveyard at activation: Send 1 Machine-Type monster with 1000 or less ATK from your hand or field to the Graveyard; that effect affects your opponent instead. During the next Standby Phase after this card resolves and is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon that monster in Defense Position, and if you do, your opponent loses LP equal to the ATK of that monster. After this effect resolves, you cannot Special Summon or activate monster effects for the rest of the turn, and your opponent can attack you directly during their next Battle Phase.
