Lore: If you control a face-up Psychic-Type monster: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it. During the next Standby Phase, it returns to the opponent's side of the field in the same Battle Position.

 

One of my favorite cards. It's actually pretty interesting.

 

For one, it is, to my knowledge, the only card whose artwork is completely in sepia tone.

 

Secondly, the effect is pretty cool. Same as Space-Time Police, actually.

 

So, with the second point in mind, couldn't Kozmo use this thing to push for game? It's a thought.

It has to target, which makes it pretty bad, and Kozmojo does a better job, and Kozmojo is usually not even run in the Main.

So anything that targets is instantly sheet?

Targeting is the worst mechanism at the moment thanks to Kozmo, Majespecter (disregard, they suck), Monarch. There's a reason why Compulsory Evacuation Device isn't run in the TCG, and that's because Kozmo is now clearly the dominant deck, with Monarchs and PePe close behind. This card is essentially dead when facing them, and decks like Kozmo cannot afford to build for the rouge when the meta consists of monsters and spells that prevent targeting, This card doesn't even banish the monster permanently because *lol flavor*. It's a nice card, no doubt, but it's not the right time for this card, and I seriously doubt it will have any impact in the future as a tech card.

 

EDIT: Being a trap also hurts this card's proactive use drastically, since most decks stock up on MST, Twin Twister, Erebus, Kuraz, Sliprider, it's unlikely it will live to see the next turn. It'll be used as a defensive trap to save your ass (and a pretty subpar one, considering alternatives), not as a way to clear the board for an OTK. That's what Dark Hole is for.
