Pendulum Effect

Monster Effect

You can Normal Summon this card without Tributing. If this card is Normal Summoned without Tributing, or is Special Summoned, its Level becomes 4 and its original ATK becomes 1800. If this card is Normal Summoned/Set, it is unaffected by activated effects from any monster whose original Level/Rank is lower than this card's current Level. When this card is Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Qli" monster(s): You can add a number of "Qli" monsters from your Deck to your hand equal to the number of "Qli" monsters you Tributed for the Tribute Summon of this card.

Have we not learned that scout was a stupid card?

I dare say this is better than scout besides the fact that it can search monsters....

 

 

But idk, I'll allow someone else who knows qlis to answer on that.

Scout was a stupid card because it gave nonstop consistency without needing to consume a Summon.

 

This also does give a good amount of consistency, but you'd have to Normal Summon this and if you want best mileage you can't exactly cheat it with Saqliphort or other non-Qli Tribute fodder.

 

Oh what you can search another copy of this card with it? What're you thinking?
