With the generic support thing in mind though this card provides some support for some fun underrated cards not found in the Infernity archetype. Most notable deck to use it would be Infernity and (maybe) Fableds could take advantage of this card. Optimal time to use it in generic deck; opponent's End Phase? Using it protect the hand from hand destruction cards also.Unless you need cards to discard or you have a hand trap there is no reason to not activate this in the opponents turn to get + in yours.
