Dragonic Servant

A card meant for both Felgrand and Blue-Eyes, but I'm sure you can find other Decks to use it with.

1 Level 7 or higher Dragon-Type monster + 1 Warrior or Spellcaster-Type monster
You also can Special Summon this card (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards you control to the Graveyard (in which case you do not use "Polymerization"). Once per turn, if this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can target 1 Dragon-Type monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it in Defense Position. If a monster Special Summoned by this card’s effect would be destroyed, you can destroy this card instead.

With the summoning mechanic, this card can be an unique staple to the Felgrand or Blue-eyes decks as it has high dragon type monsters with a splash of spellcasters and warriors. The revive effect can also be beneficial in gaining your high damage dragons back or receive the revamped Felgrand cards with their effects. A LV 8 2600 atk body can be debatable to be weak but it is somewhat reistant to most monsters. Overall, a great card for a mixed deck.

I see this usuable in Odd-Eyes Magicians. Let's you get back your extra deck bosses in the graveyard (most of them are Dragons.) I'd love to tech it, would give you an extra depth to what you can summon and helps recycle cards.

Odd eyes magicians cant summon this, pendulums cant go to the graveyard so it cant complete the summonig method

It's technically possible if you use Synchros and Tuning Magician for example. I did design it so it couldn't be used in that Deck, since it's already quite powerful.

True, first thing that came to my mind were the xtra deck dragons but totally forgot tuning magician, nevertheles its not optimal to waste tuning magician that way if you can go to something like ignister, etc...

Very good job on making the dragon not abusable on that deck by the way

I totally misread it then; and after relooking at it, it is a very good design to limit it from being able to teched into Magicians that way. You could use poly for the hand but I don't think that would be worth it. Maybe Chaos Dragons could use it or Lightsworns.

Actually did misread too, the contact fusion is an alternative way so it can be also fused with odd eyes fusion (in that case it wont matter if they go to the extra deck)

Extra deck space is still an issue but its not that gimmicky if its actually fusion summoned

Yeah Extra deck space is definitely tight, but for the case of this card, it may or may not be worth it based on the type of Meta it would be introduced, in today's you night be able to play 1 Absolute instead just so you can get your Vortex or Synchro Dragons back.
