TheWanderingMist
Here's a shorter archetype that I came up with today. It has a backstory that ties it to the "Dismal" cards. Specifically, these cards are designed to get around Special Summon restrictions. Card list: You can Tribute this card to Normal Summon 1 "Raincaster" monster from your Deck in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. During your turn, if a "Raincaster" monster is Normal Summoned from your Deck, gain 500 LP. You can Tribute this card to Normal Summon 1 "Raincaster" monster from your Graveyard in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. When a "Rain" monster is Normal Summoned to your side of the field, you can Normal Summon this card from your hand. When a "Rain" monster is Normal Summoned to your side of the field, activate 1 of the following effects:* Gain 1000 LP.* Add 1 Level 2 or lower WATER monster from your Deck to your hand. When a "Rain" monster is Normal Summoned to your side of the field, Special Summon 1 "Raindrop Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 2/Atk 0/Def 0) to your opponent's side of the field in Defense Position. It cannot be destroyed by battle or Tributed for a Tribute Summon. Special Summon 2 "Raindrop Tokens" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 2/Atk 0/ Def 0) to your opponents side of the field in face-up Defense Position. These Tokens cannot be destroyed by battle or Tributed for a Tribute Summon. "Rain" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. Once per turn, you can send 1 "Rain" monster you control to the Deck and then Normal Summon 1 "Rain" monster from your hand or Graveyard. If you do, all "Rain" monsters you control gain 500 Atk (this effect stays even if this card leaves the field). "Rain" monsters you control gain 1000 Atk. If a "Rain" monster you control is destroyed, you can Normal Summon 1 "Rain" monster from your Deck with a lower Level than the destroyed monster. This is in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. Players who control a "Raindrop Token" must Tribute one non-WATER monster during the End Phase of their turn. If a player cannot Tribute a non-WATER monster, destroy all "Raindrop Tokens" on their side of the field, then that player discards cards equal to the number of "Raindrop Tokens" destroyed this way. Activate only during your opponent's Main Phase 2. Special Summon "Raindrop Tokens" to your opponent's side of the field up to the number of cards in their hand (max. 5). Destroy 1 "Raindrop Token" on the field. Then, the Token's controller takes 1000 points of damage. You can Normal Summon this card by Tributing 1 "Raincaster" monster, but its effects are negated. When this card is Normal Summoned, you may Normal Summon up to 2 "Rainspite" or "Raincaster" monsters from your Deck in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. You can Normal Summon this card by Tributing 1 "Raincaster" monster, but its effects are negated. Once per turn, when a "Rain" monster is Normal Summoned to your side of the field, activate the following effects in sequence:*Gain 1000 LP.*Draw 2 cards.*Discard 2 cards, then Normal Summon 1 "Rain" monster from your Graveyard or banished pile in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. You can Normal Summon this card by Tributing 1 "Raincaster" monster, but its effects are negated. While a "Raindrop Token" is on your opponent's side of the field, all "Rain" monsters you control inflict piercing Battle Damage.
TheWanderingMist
I'll edit this later. Just realized you could first turn Flash Flood and ruin your opponent completely. Maybe it'll require Tribute and cost
TheWanderingMist
Bump. Flash Flood fixed. Gives the opponent time to summon a monster now.
Mist87
Very interesting deck, man. Love that you're being creative with normal/tribute summons along with the archetypes theme of rain. Only one things bugs me though... In order to give your normal summoned guys greater speed, it appears you just swapped the word Special Summon with Normal, meaning the mechanics you're using seem like Special Summon mechanics instead of mechanics that usually go with Normal/Tribute summons. So, why not word your cards like this instead: Rainsprite Anna: You can Tribute this card to add 1 "Raincaster" monster from your Deck to your hand, then immediately Normal Summon that "Raincaster" monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. Same thing with Una: Rainsprite Una: You can Tribute this card to add 1 "Raincaster" monster from your Graveyard to your hand, then immediately Normal Summon that "Raincaster" monster in addition to your Normal Summon/Set.
