This thread is for hosting battles in the hackmons format using randomized teams.

1. Generate 6 Non-Legendary, Non-NFE Pokemon using this random generator

1.1. You can only have 1 Pokemon that counts as a Mega without a stone; any other Pokemon need to hold a stone.

 

2. Apply any moves and ability to all Pokemon, disregarding their learnsets.

Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot use any moveset on any Pokémon capable of intentionally causing an endless battle. Thus:

A Pokémon may not carry Recycle and hold a Leppa Berry in conjunction with Heal Pulse and Milk Drink, Moonlight, Morning Sun, Recover, Roost, Slack Off, Soft-Boiled, or Wish.

A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Pain Split.

A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Fling.

OHKO Clause: Players cannot use the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold.

Evasion Clause: Players cannot use the moves Double Team or Minimize.

Ability Clause: Each team may not have more than 2 of any ability.

-Ate Clause: Players can only have one of Aerilate, Pixilate, or Refrigerate on their team.

Pokémon may not have the following abilities:

 

Wonder Guard

Huge Power

Pure Power

Shadow Tag

Arena Trap

Parental Bond

 

Pokémon may not carry the following moves:

 

Assist

Chatter

FAQ:

 

Q. How is this any different from regular Hackmons?

A. People will be using random teams, meaning that some players will be objectively challenged more so than others. A player with butterfree might have a handicap against a player with Manectric.

 

Q. Doesn't that make it lack skill?

A. Of course!

 

Q. Then why do it?

A. Why do anything? 

 

This is mainly because of watching hackmons videos on youtube, which seemed fun, since anything could be """"viable"""". It does have Smogon clauses, though, so no huge power slakings.
