·Toot
idk... Summon ExchangeQuick-Play SpellTarget 1 Normal OR Special Summoned monster you control: Return it to the hand. Then, you can Normal Summon or Special Summon 1 monster with a different name from your hand depending on how the returned monster was Summoned. If Normal Summoned, you gain an additional Normal Summon for this turn. You cannot Summon or activate the effects of monsters with the same name as the returned monster. You can only activate 1 "Summon Exchange" per turn. What I mean is that you can target a monster you control and bounce it. Then you can bring out another monster from your hand the same way that other came out to the field. If it was Normaled, you can gain an extra Normal summon. If it was Specialed, you can Special summon it from your hand. No matter if the returned monster came from the Grave, Deck, etc. Don't think I worded it correctly. CnC? Trebuchet MS
I'd split the card text into 2 modes to reduce confusion. You can only activate 1 "Summon Exchange" per turn. Choose 1 of these effects.Target 1 Normal Summoned monster you control; return it to the hand, then immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 monster from your hand with a different name. You cannot Summon or activate effects of monsters with the same name as that target.Target 1 Special Summoned monster you control; return it to the hand, then Special Summon 1 monster from your hand with a different name. You cannot Summon or activate effects of monsters with the same name as that target. What this amounts to is a unique version of Beast Soul Swap. The Special version is likely to see more play than the Normal version unless used in a Deck focused around that. It may give Monarchs an additional opportunity to activate effects assuming they keep enough Tribute fodder around.
