Target 1 Xyz Monster you control, then reveal 1 Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck of the same Rank; attach it to that target as an Xyz Material, and if you do, that target's name becomes that monster's, and replace its effect with that monster's original effects until the end of the next turn. If an Xyz Monster you control would activate its effect by detaching its own Xyz Material(s), you can banish this card from your Graveyard instead of detaching 1 of those Xyz Materials. You can only use 1 "Overlay Possession" effect per turn, and only once that turn.

can you elaborate the very sentence you type? explain the connection between this and Stardust logically? its obviously not a proper CnC

 

on the card:

1) lessen your branching strategy eh? as you can use 1 Xyz for a set up a turn earlier and then if the condition does not in your favor but you wanna summon different thing to do it OR you somehow got locked by Vanity

2) a support to certain Rank-Up shenanigans. that pseudo +2 material is quite sweet

You stole the words from my keypad, seriously how does this relates to stardust? i would guess wrong topic in his defense

 

Edit: i think he is refering to the firs card i made in my signature, which is indeed a power creeped stardust

 

And yeah this card gives acces not only to rank up plays but also to gimmicky Xyz monsters
