Darj Posted May 7, 2016 Report Share Posted May 7, 2016 Skill ReactionTrap CardType: NormalTarget 1 Effect Monster you control, then choose 1 of its effects; this effect becomes that monster's effect when that effect is activated. You can only activate 1 "Skill Reaction" per turn. An old card of mine that I decided to update with OCG and turn it into a Trap Card instead of a Spell Card.The way I see it, the card has a couple of cute things going for it, such as:- Using the effect of a monster twice in the same turn, skipping hard OPT clauses; although as a Trap Card it normally would require 1 turn of stand-by.- Activating the effect of a monster during the opponent's turn, even if said effect is normally an Ignition Effect.- With no additional activation conditions besides controlling an Effect Monster, it should be relatively easy to play it as an "MST-bait" card; that is, punishing the opponent's attempt of removing it by chaining this cards to the threatening effect. Rulings and other information:- It should be able to copy effects with specific timings (e.g. effects with "When this card is Normal Summoned" conditions).- It should skip any activation costs (Pay X LP, Tribute X, etc.) for the chosen effect.- For the wording I took as reference the effect of "Traptrix Rafflesia". Hard OPT clause on the card is there to prevent any potential abuse by activating multiple copies of this card on the same turn and copying a hard OPT clause effect more than twice, enabling weird, overwhelming plays.
