An interesting idea, but the one major issue I see is that Pendulum Monsters aren't treated as monsters while in the Pendulum Zone... So all the Pendulum Monsters would destroy themselves immediately after being activated.

No they won't. Because The Pendulum Zones aren't Spell & Trap Zones.

Oh shoot I misread it as "Destroy this face-up card if there are non-Monster Cards face-up on your field or in your Graveyard."!

This is why reviewing cards before bed is a bad idea. >_>

 

I feel like Johnny Joust doesn't need 3 materials since he's essentially a Dark Rebellion who gets rid of targeting in exchange for a little less maneuverability and the monster mash condition. Also a lower cost but that's both a positive and a negative.

 

Reb Reptilian seems obscenely OTK on paper, but Qli can't use it quite as readily as I initially feared (for 1, they need to remove their scales, and for 2, none of them are Lv4 in the Deck anyways). A monstermash Performapal build might be more worrisome, at least until Sorc gets hit.

 

Of course, this is all just theorycrafting, I look forwards to seeing how they end up working- Superheavy is sure to be fun to use with them.

oh man, I had a field day with all those crazy card names. I also really appreciate the 80's retrofuturistic vibe the artworks give off.

I didn't read all of your cards but some of the ones I did read were a bit too splashable and potentially abusable because of the sheer targets/uses they may be used for. For example Bruiser Bro can SS /any/ Pendulum monster from the deck. And considering it can easily get to 2200 ATK, it doesn't seem that hard to destroy something by battle with it. It's like a stronger Performapal handsome Liger that Special Summons (not saying Bruiser Bro is broken but being able to SS any pendulum from your Deck just by destroying something feels like it could get dangerous as the pool of Pendulum monsters grows larger and even more, the pool of custom pendulum monsters on DP grows even larger than that.)
