You can only use this effect of "Dark Contract with the Accused" once per turn. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Take 1000 damage. SilentKatana Posted May 24, 2016 Report Share Posted May 24, 2016 As a player of the deck, I'm not entirely sure how comfortable I am with giving a deck with as much of a power ceiling as D/D an absurdly searchable Mistake that the deck can turn on and off. I know you based the concept off Dark Contract with Errors, but this means the power D/D have in the side deck is at an absurd level, as they have 2 very searchable floodgates, of which this one is infinitely more dangerous given how much more relevant stopping searches is once you have an established board. Pair this up with the decks very regular opening hand of Crystal Wing and Siegfried, and a lot of decks just can't do anything. I would possibly nerf it to the point where once activated, it doesn't wear off in the end phase, so as to at least have a cost to the effect. Even then..... I dunno, I'm always very wary of searchable floodgates...Change de conditions to control only 3D monsters, so other monsters will not be able to let this effect go (which means no keepler search, set and activate it), also change is duration to only the current phase the effect is activating. might not be much of a nerf but its a start, i think Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
