Thousand Souls Release

Normal Spell

Reveal 1 "Thousand Soul" card in your hand; this turn, you do not lose the Duel if your Life Points reach 0, also your Life Points can go lower than 0. During the End Phase;

-If your Life Points are below 0, they become a positive number of the same amount;

-If your Life Points are 0, you lose the Duel.

During your Main Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard: You can shuffle all other cards in your Graveyard into your Deck; add this card to your hand, then you lose 1000 Life Points for each card returned to your Deck by this effect.

So there it is, the card that makes this deck's strategy. Please excuse my poor word choices for its effect. The rest should be fine though, as they're not on the same level of experimental cards.

Thousand Soul - Moth's Wing

WIND Fairy/Effect Level 4

Cannot be Special Summoned. When this card is Normal or Flip Summoned, you lose 2000 Life Points. Once per turn: You can reveal 3 "Thousand Soul" cards from your Deck, your opponent chooses 1 to add to your hand, and you send the rest to the Graveyard. While you control another "Thousand Soul" card, this card cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects.

2000/2000

Thousand Soul - Fox's Tail

FIRE Fairy/Effect Level 4

Cannot be Special Summoned. When this card is Normal or Flip Summoned, you lose 2000 Life Points. Once per turn: You can reveal 3 Equip Spell Cards from your Deck, your opponent chooses 1 to add to your hand, and you send the rest to the Graveyard. While you control a face-up Equip Spell Card, this card cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects.

2000/2000

Thousand Soul - Owl's Eye

LIGHT Fairy/Effect Level 4

Cannot be Special Summoned. When this card is Normal or Flip Summoned, you lose 2000 Life Points. Once per turn: You can reveal 3 Continuous Trap Cards from your Deck, your opponent chooses 1 to add to your hand, and you send the rest to the Graveyard. While you control a face-up Continuous Trap Card, this card cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponent's card effects.

2000/2000

Thousand Soul - Spirit Nest

Equip Spell

When this card is activated: You lose Life Points equal to the Level of the equipped monster x 500. Equip only to a "Thousand Soul" monster. During the Battle Phase, it gains 1000 ATK, also effects that activate in the Graveyard cannot be activated. If this card is sent from the hand or field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Thousand Soul" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Thousand Soul - Spirit Nest".

Thousand Soul - Infinite Abyss

Continuous Trap

Once per turn: You can discard 1 card, then target 1 face-up card on the field; send it to the Graveyard. During your End Phase, if there is no "Thousand Soul" card on the field, except this card, destroy this card. If this face-up card leaves the field, you lose 2000 Life Points.

Play Thousand Souls Release

Flip Wall of Revealing Light/[insert any number of cards that let you pay ridiculous amounts]

End Phase, your LP go to whateverthefuck amount you payed.

Methinks you might want to exclude payments in the main card, if only because it can force a bunch of unnecessary loopholes/etc.

general rule that you cant pay life points if your life would be dropped to 0 or less still applies and doesnt need to be stated in the effect.

It is also logical if you think about it that you cant pay for a card cost with negative numbers. But you can still take damage or lose life points by a card effect.

I'm just nitpicking over the fact the card says "also your Life Points can go lower than 0", which alludes to to what I was getting at in my last post; It's basically a card that lets you ignore specific rules in the game/etc, like Infinite Cards for example.

I mean it's honestly fine how it is, I'm just saying it seems sketchy.

I think the idea is interesting, but it does seem a little too powerful. By allowing negative life points, you're essentially immortal, outside of decking out or alt win conditions. And those can be worked around with the right cards. I think for this card to be balance, there needs to be another mechanic that can allow for a loss. Something that is feasible. Not sure what tho...maybe make it so opponent can choose to increase or decrease your LP by x?
