Archetypal LV monster (Theatrick archetype)

LV is always 1 of my favorite mechanic in this game, sadly lack of support and most of them are still "standalone" making it slow and holded back in todays format.

Here, its an archetye called Theatrick/Theatrickal (portmanteau of Theatre/Theatric/Theatrical and Trick) consist of LV monsters as its core of plays, while also having access to Synchro Summon, and the mechanic aren't limited to LV lower > LV higher, but can also inversed LV higher > LV lower for different effect and benefits.

Truth is, its actually my old LV series, but want to make it an archetypal and pseudo-generic support for LV.

As for Level Copy and Level Soul, it is taken straight from anime/manga i found on wiki, and balancing them.

So let the show begins!

Oh my god, these look so nice!

The LV Monsters have neat interactions and uses. Very unique, very good.

I almost want to say Musician should add any Theatrick cards but that might be too good... idk

Singer is cool and works as a backup for an emergency switch of 3 to 6 or 6 to 3

Actress is really nice as well, her gospel effect is such a good protection for the syncs.

Marionette is really cool, I think the materials can be a bit more strict for what it does... idk. I mean it isn't SO hard to get over. But still.

Playwright scares me for it's shuffle effect. Once per turn shuffling of the opponent's field just doesn't sit weIl with me.

I really love Mistress, but why does it attack all twice?

Auditorium is really neat I suppose, can't think of many other decks that can use it other than Theatrick

Stage is so cool... makes me want to bust out some LV monsters and see what I can do.

If I'm right, soul and copy are both fixed versions of anime only cards. You handled them quite well. Both work extremely well in support of LV monsters.

Next Level feels lacking. But it can ditch a high level for a lower one so that works.

Only 1 problems I found:

You can run through LV 3 and LV 6 kinda quick- I suppose fourth dimension exists, but still.

Also... knowing you, you did this on purpose. But this deck synergizes well with Lightsworns and allows for a chaos mechanic in doing so. The field would appreciate the banishing for sure.

Thx for the reply~

Musician . . . already powerful for searching monsters, making her search S/T will be too much i think, like opening Musician + any Cerberus, discard both, search Vanara + Cu Sith, and you have Cerberus set up in your grave for Vanara and Cu Sith as back up, enough i think?

Yea agree about Marionette being too much, but well, because the easiest way to access Marionette either via Field or Puppeteer LV8, while Playwright, you can do 1 card combo with Vanara, thats why i thought to make Marionette more powerful. Should i remove the "Cannot be destroyed by battle" instead or changing the bounce to pop*ing?

Playwright . . . copying Virgil so yaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy!!! hmm, okay, ill change to pop*ing instead of shuffling, and remove the graveyard disruption.

Why Puppet Mistress attack twice? Well my original idea was making all Cerberus attack multiple times, like 2-3 times (see, Cerberus, 3-headed dog, and she wears 2 hand puppets) but after re-thinking . . . it might be to powerful if all Cerberus share the same effect, thats why i leave it to the "adult-Cerberus", pure multi-attack negation beater + float.

Yep, The field benefit Theatrick more, but generic LV can use it too, but less profit.

Next Level is sorta, Search + Foolish, for Vanara or Level Soul, or setting up grave for say, Cerberus LV8, since its too weak if its just search (i think?).

Lightsworn, dunno how well this archetype mix'd with LS, aside from Cu Sith, Vanara, Level Soul, and Cerberus LV8. And the field uses counter for pure LV and Theatrick, so playing half LS half Theatrick build kinda have a hard time accumulating counters.

*eh its already 5 PM already when i post this, time to take a bath*

I totally misread mistress. Thought it was like lunalight and attacked all monsters twice each.

You're probably right about the LS. But it works with almost a third the main deck cards and magical stone exists for graveyard of the fourth dimension.

Farfetched idea but still.

But yea, still. Great cards.
