I'm thinking the only way this could be effective is to use against opponent when they only have monsters with high attack already, cause if used on lower attack monsters the effect negation isn't worth the huge ATK increase unless you have some way of destroying it

Wait , how would this card help Malefic deck?

 

Their effects become negated, so they don't get blown up while you have no field spell cards. 

 

...EDIT: This only negates your opponent's monsters. change it to all monsters.

 

This can also be used in Qliphorts or Yosenju very well. I'm wondering what would happen if you chained it to Spell Striker's attack, since he's declaring the direct attack. Basically, anything that summons a lot and can protect your LP would definitely benefit from this, since it doubles as effect negation and boosting.

 

Also, like someone said, you can use it against monsters that already have high ATK to potentially lower their ATK.

Well... I actually don't want to make it so that it affects the controller's cards as well because then it becomes less of a novelty, and more of an OTK magnet (especially for Pendulums) that can easily be manipulated by the controller activating all effects that they can use in advance... My idea with this really is to give a deck that is more on the strategically defensive side (Yang Zing, Gusto, etc.) an opportunity to negate the masses, and also... Get this.. To fit my charm of making more pack filler related stuff. :P

I can see this card acting as a more potent Skill Drain for Melodious, especially used with Bloom Diva. Magic Cylinder is a more minor generic combo with this card, as well as Inferno Tempest. In all honesty, this might just support Melodious than anything else.

 

Aside from that, it is a better Skill Drain in the sense that your own monsters can still activate their own effects, but at the cost of boosting your opponent's monsters to 3000. Costly, and since battle traps are rarely run nowadays, it can hurt you a lot if your opponent has swarming capabilities.

 

You don't really need to keep the original ATK part, instead changing it to only current ATK. This also gives Ragnazero a chance to join in the combo.
