mr. waifu
Aqatious, the Chains of DefeatWATER Rn. 02100 / 0Sea Serpent / Xyz / Effect2 level 2 or 3 WATER monsters(This card's rank is equal to the level of this card's Xyz Materials.) Must be Xyz Summoned with the above Xyz Materials, and cannot be Summoned by any other way. Once per turn, as a chain link 2 or higher, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card and apply 1 or both of these effects.* Replace the original effect of all cards on your opponent's side of the field that were in this chain to "Target 1 Aqua, Fish or Sea Serpent Type monster on your opponent's side of the field: It gains 400 ATK and DEF."* Replace the original effect of all cards on your side of the field that were in this chain to "Special Summon 1 "Chain Token" (Sea Serpent Type/WATER/level 2/ATK 1000/DEF 0). Once per turn, as a chain link 2 or higher, you can destroy 1 "Chain Token.".
Snatch Steal
Welcome to Atlantean™ Hell®© so, uh, it's a Numeron, which means it's unaffected by And The Band Played On, although I guess that's a gimmicky side card. I don't know how overpowered turning everything in a chain link into 400 ATK/DEF is, but it might be, since it's technically a better Veiler. For the second effect, I guess it's fine, since this is still chain link 2 or higher, but even so, adding any monster from your Graveyard to your hand, or setting any Spell/Trap card from your Graveyard, is very powerful. You can set Twin Twisters, Solemn Strike, Raigeki, or any of your other power cards for free, while still having a 2100+ beater who is also a veiler. Fortunately, this supports an archetype that doesn't see much play. Unfortunately, the archetype can be used with another archetype that definitely does see play, and I predict Marksman > Attack Squad just to make this. Dokutah
so its...1. addition to Rank 2 (and 3...but i only care about Rank 2) that it mildly Xenophobic...which is kinda sad personally yet understandable2. interesting chain effect utilizing effect replacing gimmick. so its able to "negate" cards while gaining something for you so unless you playing Burgesstoma, that 400 gain will mostly played defensively. luckily it has decent offensive body. i'm not that fond to the 2nd option since its quite generically powerful. its blessing to rank 2 deck but not so for the "3" side of uses
