Real quick note: no promises. As of now, this is just an interest check. Should I get a good response, something might happen. Also, it's like 1 in the morning and I'm tired so it might be rambley anyway!

[spoiler=The Setting]

The art of manliness in the modern age is slowly dwindling away, as a hyper-feminized society demonizes boys and their natural tendencies towards roughhousing and crude behavior in favor of a more gentle, sterilized approach to life. As a result of this, boys and young men throughout the nation of Breuton are finding themselves caged within themselves; they lack the motivation to succeed, the nerve to take risks, or the willingness to do much throughout life. They are beat down for being themselves and kept down.

This state of affairs soon became recognized as a grave issue by the heads of several dozen all-boys schools throughout the nation, as test scores dropped like rocks and suicides hiked to unprecedented levels. Something to counteract this was desperately needed, and after months of brainstorming, a solution was found; a solution that would give these young men the support they need, the technical skills the thrive, and the self-confidence in their own nature restored. The Art of Dogfighting.

Offering large scholarships, guaranteed technical jobs out of college, and psychiatric support, Dogfighting as a sport quickly became highly popular within all 24 of the participating all-boys schools. Alongside their normal classes, these boys are trained as fighter pilots, piloting a wide arrange of turboprop and other propeller aircraft from ages past, utilizing a new "safety pod" ejection module that is impervious to the gunfire used in said dogfights, able to be activated manually or remotely. This ensured the safety of the pilot, as well as having the added benefit of being reusable as a cost-saving measure. The class included a strict, yet fair, training regimen for these young men, as well as etiquette classes, physical training, and psych sessions to help keep them in top-shape. With supportive instructors and a mature environment, the success rate was far beyond expectations.

It's been 10 years since the introduction of the Art of Dogfighting, and despite constant and consistent public outcry, success rates continue to be high and enrollment rates are increasing by the year. It's time for the 9th Annual Art of Dogfighting Aerial Exhibition Tournament, and your school is out to make a name for itself. Whether they be a school with many championship victories, or one with few match wins at all, no school will take anything less than total victory.

what a mess. anyway I have ideas for how dogfights might work, since they're a bit too high-octane for standard RP posts, but we'll see.

this is gonna be hilarious
