Realm Intruder

FIRE /Level 1/Pyro/Effect

 

During either player's turn, when your opponent activate Normal or Continuous Spell Card: You can shuffle this banished card to your deck; Negate the activation and Destroy that card. and if you do, you can add 1 Trap card from your deck to your hand with different type (Normal, Continuous) than the negated card. You can only use this effect of "Realm Intruder" once per turn.

This card also always treated as LIGHT monster. During either player's turn, when your opponent activate Normal or Continuous Spell Card: You can shuffle this banished card to your deck (Even if its Face down); Negate the activation and Banish that card. and if you do, you can add 1 Trap card from your deck to your hand with different type (Normal, Continuous) than the negated card. You can only use this effect of "Realm Intruder" once per turn.

 

ATK 1000/DEF 200

What an inelegant design. This isn't "advanced" in the least.

 

First off, WHY is this light? It... doesn't make any sense to tack that on. Inelegant.

 

Why can it activate face-down? To abuse cupidity? It's so inelegant and obvious, and it makes no sense that it can do so, other than "muh viability". Viability does not mean slapping effects on until it works.

 

And why does it add a trap? What does that have to do with anything here?

 

It's just not a fair or elegant design, reeking of desperation to make something viable.
