Monster Hunter Generations: Is it worth the buy?

So I bought MH3 and MH4 (both for 3DS). I liked MH3 a lot, but ended up getting sick of the water levels; and lost interest in MH4 pretty quickly for reasons I don't remember/care to remember. I'm thinking of getting back into the series at some point in the near/mid future. Would people consider MHGen to be a decent pickup? I've heard it's a bit easier than previous generations, which is kinda nice because I'm just a casual player (not looking to grind day in and day out). Yes? No? More detailed answers?
