This card gains 200 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. During either player's turn, if the effect of another monster is activated: Tribute 1 monster from your hand or your side of the field; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster, then you can attach it to this card as Xyz Material. If this face-up card on the field would be destroyed, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Doomcaliber Knight" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.

 

 

So, apparently a retrain of Doomcaliber Knight was deemed too strong for the game so I decided to shift the card as a Rank4 and thus giving it a different niche.

Now it pretty much works as an Effect Monster floodgate as long as you have the monsters to tribute. Like Doomcaliber's, the negation effect isn't optional, so you would have to be way of that. It is also has a cute searching effect for Doomcaliber, designed to be as flexible as possible by triggering even when its milled from the Extra Deck or detached from a Ranked-Up Xyz, plus picking Doomcaliber from either the Deck or grave.

Please note that it requires Effect Monsters with 1900+ ATK as materials, which AFAIK aren't as common, so I don't see this being splashed in every Rank4 Deck. Granted, Norden helps by fulfilling half of its requirements, but you would still need to main a 1900+ ATK Level4 to access it.

 

Flavorwise, this is intended to be the former human, righteous and chivalrous form of Doomcaliber before it was, well, doomed. Its searching effect reflects how it turns into Doomcaliber after it is defeated, killed, etc. Also, it has the same base stats as Doomcaliber.
