If it is too crowded then that can be dropped. The damage effect is a toned down version of Dark Eradicator Warlock's because I felt like referencing multiple Dark Magician upgrades. Also has Sorcerer of Dark Magic's stats (which kinda breaks the pattern with Magi Magi Star Magician Gal and Ebon Illusion Magician having the same stats as their non-Xyz counterparts). Like how Ebon Illusion Magician can rank up from Magi Magi Star Magician Gal (well any rank 6 Spellcaster but obviously made to work with Magi Magi) this can rank up from Ebon Illusion Magician. The last effect is a mixture of Dark Magician of Chaos's abilities.

DiplomatfromPluto
Valkyria Ascendant is a fantastic rank 4 monster to protect your spellcasters from destruction and your LP. However, it might be better to make it require 2 level 4 spellcaster-type monsters. It's generic right now, since it can be made with any 2 level 4 monsters, but its effects only work for spellcasters. I thought this card might be useful with Magician Girls, which have a lot of ATK boost and protection from swarming the field, but their levels are all over the place, and they only have 1 level 4. Trick Master is interesting, although its effect is written strangely-When this card is targeted by a card effect, you can discard 1 card; negate that effect, and if you do, this card is treated as being destroyed and sent to the Graveyard and this card gains 500 ATK. This is an edit of its second effect. I merged the 2 sentences with each other because there were 2 semicolons. Since anything with a semicolon starts a chain, this would have started 2 separate chains, which seemed confusing. The "destroy that card" seems redundant because discarded cards always come from the hand. Did you want this effect to help cards that gain effects by being destroyed and sent to the graveyard? You could change it to "this card is treated as being destroyed and sent to the graveyard". With these edits, you can discard to negate a targeting effect, and if that negation is successful, you can treat that card as being destroyed and Trick Master gets 500 ATK. It seems like the ATK boost is permanent, too. Having another effect to special summon a monster is pretty good, too. Stormcloud Samurai is pretty cool. It looks like you meant for it to target a monster on either player's turn and allow it to attack twice. So you could allow one of your monsters to attack, or you could lock your opponent out attacking by targeting their weakest monster. You opponent can't activate cards or effects during your Main Phase. Once per turn, during either player's Main Phase 1: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to target 1 monster the turn player controls; that monster can make a second attack during each battle phase this turn, Other monsters cannot attack during the turn you activate this effect. These were edits I copied to match current card texts with the same kind of effect as yours. You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 7 Spellcaster-Type Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) This card is also always treated as a LIGHT monster. When your opponent activates a Spell card: they lose 1000 LP. If this card destroys a monster by battle, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; target the destroyed monster and 1 Spell card in your Graveyard; banish the first target and return the second target to your hand.Based on other Xyz monsters that can use Xyz as material, I don't think you need to include the clause of a monster not being summoned that turn. I altered the last effect in a way that looked cleaner to me, but it doesn't change the way the effect works. Banish the destroyed monster and add a spell from the grave. That's really helpful. The fact that it refers to the cards as targets means they have to remain targets-if your opponent negated the banishing of the monster, it couldn't be banished and the "and" means you couldn't return the spell either. But this is probably a good way to balance the card, give it some ways to be stopped since it can do so much. The fact that it just takes 1000 LP when your opponent plays a spell means it could possibly do 2 or 3 thousand in one turn if they play pendulum cards. You might want to add a "once per turn" clause.
CuriousHeartless
Thank you for commenting. Yeah there really is no point in Valkyria being generic so I'll fix that. No, Trick Master was supposed to destroy the card whose effect it negated. But now I'm not too sure I like that because your ability is way more unique and interesting. That is exactly what Stormcloud Samurai was aiming to do, and thank you for the wording fix. So like "Once per turn, when your opponent activates a Spell card: they lose 1000 LP". Alright, I can see why that change may be necessary. If you got it out against a Pendulum deck that couldn't immediately take care of it they could take out a good chunk of their own LP, so less oppressive at opt. And the other changes look good too. Again, thank you.
