dustdevil9
Lvl 3EarthPsychic/Effect800/1000If this card is Normal or Special Summoned : you can pay 1000 LP; add 1 Psychic-Type monster from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand, monsters you control cannot attack for the rest of this turn, except Psychic-Type monsters. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard gain 200 LP for every card in your hand. Each effect of "Back Alley Psychic" can only be used once per turn. So it's basically turning Overdrive Teleporter into a 3k deck thin. As well as 1000 to search ghost ogre. I gave it monarch stats to make it spashable in them or to tech Vassles in psychics

goodfusion
I'd run 3 in my Overdrive Teleporter deck, that's for sure. It makes Brain Research Lab a LOT better because you can Normal Summon this, then search for another card to Normal Summon using Lab's effect. Which is great because the problem with Lab normally is that it relies on having multiple Psychics in hand to make full use of it. The fact it can search Overdrive Teleporter makes the deck a lot more consistent. Even though it can be returned to the hand with this card, I would probably still run the 3 Teleporter as resolving his effect is pretty much the deck's win condition. Aside from making the deck more consistent, Back Alley Psychic obviously opens up a whole new avenue of combos to do if you summon it with Overdrive Teleporter. I'm really tempted to say it's overpowered. Other than Overdrive Teleporter, there's huge potential in other Psychic decks. In Metalfoes, for example, it's pretty much a Performapal Skullcrobat Joker that lacks the archetype name and Pendulum status but makes up for it by being able to search a variety of other cards such as Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit, Psychic Jumper (can synch for Naturia Beast with Back Alley Psychic, also the Creature Swap effect is nice) or Kozmoll Dark Lady (Pendulum Summonable mini-Crystal Wing). Heck, the fact that Emergency Teleport is a card, and that this card has such a wide range of things it can search and recover makes it very generic. It would be bound to pop-up somewhere as an engine for something. It could probably do with some more restrictions. Limiting you to Special Summoning Psychic-Types the turn you use its first effect would vastly reduce its general uses, however it would still be great for something like pure Metalfoes or a Psychic orientated variant. It's not a perfect solution though but it would help keep it from being too generic.

Uni-Zombie puts in a lot of work for Zombie decks, and this does the same for Psychic.
