so, after reading these, what are your thoughts?

[spoiler=my own thoughts]

rotfl was my first one.

this is just far too anime to take seriously. seriously, a list of the women in a sports club, detailed ratings and descriptions, it seems like a gloriously ignorant idea. i can't say i wouldn't have jumped in had i been in their shoes, though i can say that i'd have had far more detail than just appearances, such as intelligence, attitude, conversational skills, keeper status, ect. appearances are the most obvious factor. but if you're trying to get with the best girl, you need to look a lot farther beyond that. better security on such a list than just google docs would probably been a good idea too. i've seen enough anime to know how much s*** such a list can get you in with women. (and i still can proudly say that i would have jumped in. )

but my second thought was who cares? it's a list, it's not like the list is raping people, it's just a list detailing what they know/ want to know about the women as far as sex goes. no harm done. i mean, women with low scores might hate it, but besides that, i don't see much harm in it. the most that the list would likely have amounted to had it not been turned national was a couple guys and girls pairing up for a far more enjoyable night than they would have otherwise, and really all it's doing in the open is letting people feel outraged at a nonissue.

my third though is is there a reverse list? i mean, if any decent number of the women enjoy sex, it would stand to reason that they'd have a similar list, or at least a decent amount of similar gossip. i've seen as much happen, so it makes me curious.

my fourth thought was if the do have such a list, would the punishment be the same as it is to the guys? it would only be fair to suspend all teams if you're up for suspending one.

and my fifth though was why is Harvard barging into the sex talk of the guys on campus? they weren't raping anybody, they weren't being sex offenders, they were simply cataloging the tastes and tastes of the women on their campus. no harm no foul right?

but again, all thoughts are welcome. this story was just too funny to not report.

Inappropriate?  Maybe.   Obnoxious?  Surely.

Unacceptable?  Not really...

I hate to be that guy but this is absolutely an example of us coddling people too much.  It was retarded of them to leave it publicly searchable, but this kind of thing calls more for a "funk you" than acting like the funking world is ending.

Saying vulgar things behind closed doors is not sexual assault.  Stop telling people to be offended by everything.  It is extremely damaging in my opinion to lump this kind of thing with actual non-consensual sexual activity.  The day where you cannot say bad things about people in private is the day we're really in trouble.

Don't get me wrong, they're a bunch of douchebags, but grow a spine and tank that sheet rather than whining and crying about it.
