Blake
Target 1 "Edge Imp" or "Fluffal" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon it, and if you do, it can be treated as a "Frightfur" monster for a Fusion Summon. I am going to keep shilling this card. More now that Penguin exists. For quality targets, there's Penguin, Octo, Owl, Sheep,Chain, and sometimes Rabbit, Cat, or Bear. The first four are all strong for what they do, and Octo/Chain can even double as LP protection with a float, meaning that it doesn't have to be an End Phase play. Feel free to double check that Octo abandoned the "from the hand" requirement. Anyway, you don't even have to max this out, it's just the best search from Chain T1, generally, and you have enough good targets that it should always be live (if searched by chain, definitely does). and don't say suture rebirth, becauseunsearchabledoesn't dodge hard OPTsedge imp revival > frightfur revivalnegates effect whyyyyy
evilfusion
Oh, I agree, this card is extremely good, moreso due to Octo (and Penguin) making it actually a decent card, and it was always good with Chain, not least of which because Chain can search this card. The clause to treat the monster as a Frightfur (and only for a Fusion Summon) is completely pointless, though. It'd only work for Mad Chimera, because Sabre Tiger is so adamant that you use a Frightfur FUSION monster. I'd say its biggest problem is being slow, as a Trap, but considering what it does for the Deck, I may consider using this card again. I used to run 2, but eventually dropped them. Might go back to using 2. Being a chainable and searchable revival effect for monsters that can extend plays is just awesome.
Proto
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhXcBqfG0gk This looks pretty amazing for Sabertooth plays and stuff, even though I've never been a Frightfur player, revival traps are amazing. i'm pretty sure i was the only one fighting for Archfiend Roar back in the day and this is way better than this. It's not. Sabre Tooth requires a Frightfur FUSION monster as Material. This card doesn't treat the revived monster as a Fusion, just as a Frightfur. Meaning it only matters for Mad Chimera. It also doesn't treat said monster as a Frightfur constantly, only when used as Fusion Material, so it gets no benefit from Scissor Tiger or Sabre Tiger.
