Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must first be Special Summoned by banishing 1 FIRE monster from your Graveyard. During either player's turn: You can send 1 card you control to the Graveyard and target 1 face-up card on the field; Banish it and return this card to your hand. This effect of "Soviath Nightmare" can only be activated once per turn.

So many decks have so much to say about this guy, Soviath. Resonators have an accompanying move to make use of their Resonators in the Graveyard after the Red Dragon Archfiends of choice have all come out to play. Lavals have a way to churn out the Lakeside Ladies and Handmaidens for Laval Cannon to make their Synchros live, a viable 1-2 punch. True Kings have a new target that, after it makes its banishing rounds, can return to the hand for Agnimazud the Vanisher to blaze away another monster and trigger some other True King destruction effects, then (possibly) port over into  a Phantom Fortress to further the pain. Nice huh? 

 

But really, this card is a supercharged Majespecter Kirin. Sure, it gives up protection for a beefier body, and it requires an extra -1 field presence to go off, but its purpose, since its a Quick Effect, is the same as the WIND unicorn; arrive, disrupt, run off into the hand to try again. And with only 1 FIRE monster to banish to bring Soviath back to the field, FIRE decks have a real game changer in terms of their strategies. One that really isn't something you want to see in groups (again, Phantom Fortress.) And one that certain decks, like Lavals, can easily abuse for fun and profit.
