Bluffing....revised...

Recommended Posts

I love how whenever someone gets backed into a corner' date=' that's the argument they use, "but if they are using DAD..."

That's not an argument, that's a lack of argument.

That is an argument. Go play a good DAD deck in advanced. If you can beat it, good for you. You've proved a point.

But that's not an argument. Saying "what if someone has a DAD deck" is the same thing as saying "every card has something that can stop it."

Its not anything to build an argument off of, its just a statement made when you've run out of things to strengthen your argument with.

Fact of the matter is, regardless of what kind of deck your opponent is using, bluffing can possibly turn the tide in a duel. If you happen to be against someone who attacks you, regardless of what you have on the field, then obviously bluffing isn't going to do $h!t for you, but if you are against anyone with half a brain-stem, they are going to at least consider the possibility that you could be bluffing, or you could be protecting yourself. Chances are, if they have nothing to back themselves up with, if you aren't bluffing, they aren't going to attack, which will buy you at least 1 turn.

Or, if you let them attack once, and THEN use your good trap (such as Mirror Force) you have also BLUFFED allowing for more destruction of their monsters, leaving their lifepoints potentially wide open for a direct assault.

The deck type doesn't matter in this argument. Bluffing, at the right times, can be pivital in a duel. That's a fact. Undisputable.
