Charlelot
Hey there, When I was younger, one of the decks I always enjoyed playing with was my good old ''Armed Dragon'' deck. I always liked the desing of ''LV' monster and was even more exited when I later learned that they were based on traditional RPGs. Sadly, they were never very popular with the competitive crowd and over time, Konami let the archtype die. So this is my first attempt at imagining what a modernised ''LV'' deck could look like. Just one thing you guys have to know, if this deck was to be real, there would be a ruling indicating that ''LV'' cards are always treated as ''Level'' cards or something of the sort. Extra deck: 000 - The Game MasterLevel 8 LIGHT Fairy FusionATK 2800 DEF 28001 level 4 or lower ‘’Level’’ monster + 1 level 5 or higher ‘’Level’’ monsterThis card is always treated as a ‘’Level’’ monster. If ‘’Leveled Pyramid of the Great Game’’ is face-up on your side of the field, this card is unaffected by your opponent card effects. During either player’s turn, you can return this card you control to your Extra deck; special summon 1 ‘’Level’’ monster from your graveyard ignoring its summoning condition and add 1 ‘’Polymerization’’ from your graveyard to your hand. This turn, the special summoned monster cannot attack and its effect is negated. If this card is destroyed during your opponent’s turn, add 1 ‘’Level’’ Spell/Trap from your deck or graveyard to your hand. Monster cards: 001 - Silent Blackguard LV 2Level 2 LIGHT PsychicATK 900 DEF 300Once per turn, when this card is summoned, you can activate one of the following effects:· Send 1 ‘’Level’’ monster from your deck to the graveyard.· Send 1 ‘’Level’’ monster from your hand to the graveyard; draw 1 card. When this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate monster effects until the end of the Damage step. During either player's turn, while this card is face-up, if a Spell card effect is activated, you can send this card to the graveyard; special summon 1 level 4 or lower ''Level'' monster from your hand or deck. 002 - Silent Blackguard LV 4Level 4 LIGHT PsychicATK 1800 DEF 900Once per turn, when this card is special summoned, you can add 1 ‘’Level’’ monster from your deck to your hand. When this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate any of his/her set cards until the end of the Damage step. During either player’s turn, while this card is face-up, if a Spell card effect is activated, you can send this card to the graveyard; special summon 1 level 5 or higher ''Level'' monster from your hand or deck, ignoring its summoning condition. You cannot activate this effect if this card was special summoned by a monster effect this turn. 003 - Silent Blackguard LV 6Level 6 LIGHT PsychicATK 2700 DEF 1800This card cannot be normal or special summoned except by the effect of a ‘’Level’’ card. Once per turn, if this card is special summoned, you can add 1 ‘’Level’’ Spell or Trap card from your deck to your hand. If this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate card effects until the end of the Damage step. If this card is destroyed by battle or by an opponent card effect, you can special summon 1 level 4 or lower ‘’Level’’ monster from your graveyard ignoring its summoning conditions. Spell cards: 004 - Leveled Pyramid of the Great GameField Spell‘’Level’’ monster in your graveyard are also treated as being in your deck. Once per turn, during your main phase, you can activate 1 of the following effects:· Send 1 ‘’Level’’ monster from your deck to the graveyard.· Send 1 face-up ‘’Level’’ monster you control to the graveyard; special summon a ‘’Level’’ monster from your hand, deck or graveyard that is 2 to 3 levels higher or lower ignoring its summoning conditions. 005 - Leveled MerchantContinuous SpellDuring your draw phase, if you draw a ‘’Level’’ monster, you can reveal it to your opponent. If you do, draw 1 card. When this card is activated, excavate the top 3 cards from your deck. You can add 1 ‘’Level’’ card among them to your hand, also, after that, shuffle the rest back into the deck. During either player’s end phase, you can send 1 ‘’Level’’ card from your deck to the graveyard; destroy this face-up card. You can only use each effects of ‘’Leveled Merchant’’ once per turn. 006 - Level RegulationQuick-Play SpellSend 1 face-up ‘’Level’’ monster you control to the graveyard; special summon a ‘’Level’’ monster from your hand, deck or graveyard that is 2 to 3 levels higher or lower ignoring its summoning conditions. While this card is in your graveyard, if your opponent attacks a level 4 or lower ‘’Level’’ monster, you can banish this card; the monster is not destroyed and you take no battle damage. You can only activate each effects of ‘’Level Regulation’’ once per turn. Trap cards: 007 - Level SealingCounter TrapWhen your opponent activated a Spell/Trap or monster effect while you control a ‘’Level’’ monster, negate the activation and if you do, destroy that card. Then, select 1 ‘’Level’’ monster you control who’s ATK is the highest and send it to the graveyard; if possible, special summon 1 ‘’Level’’ monster from your graveyard that is 2 to 3 levels lower than the selected monster ignoring its summoning conditions. This turn, it cannot attack and its effect is negated. 008 - Level Re-ModulationContinuous TrapOnce per turn, during your main phase, special summon 1 level 4 or lower ‘’Level’’ monster from your graveyard ignoring its summoning conditions. If this face-up card is destroyed by an opponent card effect, destroy every monster on your side of the field. Then, you can special summon 1 ‘’Level’’ monster from your hand or graveyard ignoring its summoning conditions. If you activate this effect, your opponent draws 1 card. 009 - Level ImbalanceNormal Trap You can only activate this card if you have a face-up ‘’Level’’ monster on the field and control no monsters that have been summoned from the Extra deck. Until the end of the turn, monsters summoned from the Extra Deck cannot attack and their effects are negated. This card effect cannot be negated by a monster summoned from the Extra deck. that card creator
So everything is mostly, fine I think you mean " until the end of the Damage step" for the effects of the Silent Blackguards. Also wouldn't "Level" be "LV" ? I love the fact that they're psychic; adds some unique combos most the other ones wouldn't have.
