Activate this card by sending 1 face-up Continuous Spell Card on the field to the Graveyard. If a monster(s) is Special Summoned to your field: You can target 1 monster you control with ATK less than its own original ATK, and 1 monster your opponent controls; inflict damage to your opponent equal to the difference between the ATK and original ATK of that monster you control, and if you do, that monster your opponent controls loses that much ATK. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Target 1 other Continuous Spell Card you control; send it to the Graveyard or take 1000 damage.

If a monster(s) you control is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 of those monsters, then reduce by 3000 the ATK of 1 monster you control with 3000 or more ATK; Special Summon that target. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Target 1 other Continuous Spell Card you control; send it to the Graveyard or take 3000 damage.

These are painfully blatant plot devices. It's interesting that their "cost" is to send a Continuous Spell from anywhere on the Field, but their actual effects are so absurdly conditional that they're just painful. While this episode did indicate that Yuri runs a lot of Continuous Spells, again...the EFFECTS. Yuri doesn't actually use any monsters that naturally have 3000+ ATK, other than Greedy Venom.

 

They combo together, but they don't synergize.

Make it send face-up Spell Cards instead of Continuous Spell cards, and make it Tribute instead of sending to Grave.
