3 Leve 8 LIGHT Dragon-Type monsters

Must be Xyz Summoned, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. During the End Phase, if this card is Special Summoned this turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; add 1 "Blue-Eyes" Ritual Monster, or 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn, during the Standby Phase: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

I don't like this one. It's just too strong and a bit of a overkill. I mean, it's pretty much a Rank8 Chaos Max Dragon hat by itself sets up the real Chaos MAX Dragon, plus it can further put monsters on board with its detach effect; not to mention the ability of summoning Dragon Spirit of White during the opponent's Standby Phase for the Spell/Trap banishment effect. All for the price of 3 Level8 LIGHT Dragons of course, but AFAIK it shouldn't be too difficult to set it up for Blue Eyes decks with the right cards at hand; and even if they couldn't, the card is still overwhelming.

As for how to fix it, I got no ideas since I'm of the opinion that Blue Eyes isn't an archetype that needs nor deserve support, plus there are enough good 2-materials Rank8s available, so you would have to make something stronger than them to justify the 3-material requirements, which of course is prone to falling into the unfair side.

▪ Removed the protection from the opponent's targeting and destroying card effects.

▪ The First Effect now requires you to detach 1 Xyz Material to activate it.

▪ Limited the Second Effect by only allowing it to Special Summon "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", similar to Maiden's effect, but compensated for that by giving it the ability to Special Summon from the Graveyard, in addition to the hand and Deck.

Is it better now?

I'm not sure, to be honest. Admittedly I have difficulty myself when it comes to 3-materials (or more) Xyzs because you have to balance their power with their investment in order to make them worthy while remaining fair. And since the Rank8 pool is solid enough with 2-material members like Felgrand Knight, Hope Harbinger, Dark Matter Dragon and the Photon Dragon Xyz evolutions, making anything stronger to compensate the extra material required is tricky and can easily turn out unfair, but on the other hand, if it's made weaker or at about the same level, then it becomes a bad deal, in the sense that you may as well invest 2 Level8s into one of those Xyzs instead of 3 Level8s for this.

Now, you may think I'm contradicting myself, but the card feels too risky or unsafe to use now that the protection is gone. Its biggest selling point IMO was that it was basically a 3-material Xyz variant of Chaos MAX Dragon, whose protection effect nicely backed up its summoning effect. What does feel overkill-ish to me is that it searches for the Ritual pieces of Chaos MAX Dragon, so personally, I would bring the protection back, drop the MAX Dragon searching effects, and keep the detach effect as you have it right now: only BEWDs, but also can pick them from the grave.
