Darj Posted December 7, 2016 Report Share Posted December 7, 2016 "Negating a destruction" is not a thing: either you negate the activation of a card/effect that would destroy (e.g. Stardust Dragon) or prevent the card from being destroyed by battle and/or card effects (e.g. Stardust Spark Dragon). Since you want to cover battle destruction, the closest is the latter. The other effect is strong by being able to revive any WATER, regardless of Level, but its bound to the card's Normal Summon plus the monster it's not a Tuner nor anything like that so it will be tricky to follow up with an Extra Deck play. Still, IMO it should be more fair to put some kind of restriction on the revived monster, like negating its effect, or bringing it with 0/0 stats, or at the very least Summoning it in Defense Position. Actually, considering the high versatility on this card as a destruction protector, semi-Kalut for WATERs, and reviver, it should be nerfed a bit IMO. I suggest to make the ATK boost apply only on 1 WATER monster, and with the second effect revive the monster in Defense Position and with its effects negated.
