[Fanfiction] Fallout: New Vegas - What Happened Next

Unbelievably Klane

Recommended Posts

This is a graphic novel series that will follow several threads following the end of Fallout: New Vegas. It follows on from an NCR Aligned Courier who uses brute force on the Kings, enlists the help of the Enclave Remnants to help NCR hold Hoover Dam, helps Jacobstown find a cure for the Nightkin schizophrenia and begins diplomacy between the Brotherhood and NCR.

Something's Gotta Give

The first story follows Sergio, the Kings hairdresser. Following the massacre at The Kings School of Impersonation at the hands of the NCR and the Courier, Sergio is the only one who remains, and he scours the building for survivors. He sees the King riddled with bullets and soaked in his own blood and the blood of his brothers. Realising what he must do, he takes the coat of the King and a cowering Rex to the water pump and washes up there. After donning the coat, he becomes the new King and decides that the NCR cannot be allowed to continue their tyrannical rule of the Mojave...

Penny Arcade

This story follows the Courier's Companion, Follower of the Apocalypse and former Enclave member, Arcade Gannon.

The victory at Hoover Dam was bittersweet for Arcade, and although the structured NCR rule did help stem the tide of injured and sick at the Old Mormon Fort, it went against his principles of independence, on which America itself was founded. Donning his father's Tesla Enclave X-01 Armour once more, Arcade goes back to NCR to find out Kimball's true motive for taking Hoover Dam if he indeed has the nuclear reactor of Gecko on his side like the rumours say. But his armour carries some baggage for older citizens in NCR, especially after the Chosen One destroyed the Oil Rig that the Enclave ran their operation from...

Thy Flesh and Thy Body Consumed

After the courier aids Dr Henry in finding a cure for the Stealth Boy induced shizophrenia, the Nightkin settle properly and Jacobstown flourishes, but the mutant leader, Marcus, notices something is amiss. There's talk of mutants as far out as D.C and Boston, so Marcus journeys to the Capital Wasteland and later the Commonwealth to assess exactly how and why this many mutants are here, as to his knowledge there should only be a couple of hundred if the Master produced the only batches of FEV-2 in America...

Not Alone in The Dark

The Courier helped Paladin Hardin oust MacNamara out of his position as Elder, and as an upstanding member of the Brotherhood, helped liaise negotiations between the Brotherhood and the NCR. Though the Brotherhood have no major stakes in the Mojave apart from HELIOS One, they realise that the NCR have been trying their hardest to integrate the Mojave chapter into the NCR, and this move is somewhat unexpected, since their agreement involves the handing-over of all Salvaged T-45d Power Armour suits; they could have backed out at any time. At the same time, the Capital Chapter sends over enough suits of T-60 Power Armour to supply the whole Chapter. Head of Security Paladin Ramos does some investigation, and what he uncovers is a plot for much more than the Mojave, but rather the whole of America, a land that has remained almost totally government-less for over 200 years...
