Cannot be destroyed by battle. During your main phase, you may activate one of the following effects:- Special Summon 1 "The lovers" from your hand or deck. Its effects are negated and is shuffled into your deck during the end phase.- Return this card to your hand; draw 1 card.- Return 1 other monster you control to your hand; this card cannot be targeted until your next standby phase.You can only activate the effects of "The Lovers" once per turn. Darj Posted February 17, 2017 Report Share Posted February 17, 2017 The card is so strangely versatile that I haven't figured out what's its best use or niche yet. I mean, the first effect can be used for Tribute Summons and/or as pop fodder (e.g. Metalfoes, True Kings), the 2nd gives draw power and discard fodder, especially if you have ways to Special Summon it and reserve the Normal Summon for other monsters, and the last one allows it to wall to a certain degree.Hmm... with all that bouncing I would try this in decks that run Divine Wind of Mist Valley or something, or maybe in Metalfoes who can appreciate the pop fodder plus you get the possibility of Pendulum Summoning it and use the card-drawing effect; IDK, it's good that you can always fall back to Normal Summoning and bouncing it right away for the card draw, but it would still be awkward to splash around, IMO Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
