Darj
Blooming EndSpell CardType: Quick-PlaySpecial Summon 1 FIRE Plant-Type monster from your hand or Deck. Its effects are negated and it cannot attack this turn, also immediately draw 1 card when it is destroyed by battle or by a card effect. During either player's turn: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; immediately after this effect resolves, Synchro Summon 1 Plant-Type or "Black Rose" Synchro Monster, using Plant-Type Tuner monsters and any non-Tuner monsters you control. You can only use 1 "Blooming End" effect per turn, and only once that turn. Random support for FIRE Plants, I guess. To be honest, I first thought on the name and then decided to tie it with FIRE Plant-Type monsters and Black Rose Dragon due to its FIRE typing. In fact, my original thought for the name was "Blooming Hell", but preferred to keep it TCG-friendly since it appears they avoid that word in their cards.Anyway, It's intentionally designed to not excel too much: negating the effect of the Summoned monsters prevent abuse with Lonefire, while it supports other underused FIRE Plants; in theory you can play this as a combo piece for Summons, or along effects that destroy your own cards (e.g Sky Iris, Metalfoes, True Dracos), or at the very least summon the sunflower Princess or Hermitree as floater beaters. The second effect is mostly intended for shenanigans with dropping a Synchro during the opponent's turn, namely Black Rose Dragon for a pseudo-quick effect nuke, or Moonlight Black Rose for the bounce. It's not entirely generic to keep it somewhat in check, but an advantage it has is that as a graveyard effect you can get it in there and use it whenever you get the setup and would be a good move for you; in other words, it's an option that doesn't need as much dedication and setup as if it was an activated-from-hand effect. Guest BGMCANN0N
I love how open the Leveling is despite the limited category: Looking at Marina, the Sunflower, or Sylvan Hermitree makes this card already seem defensively formidable in regards to it being a Quick-Play. I mean who wouldn't love a near free 2800 beater at anytime on top of that a replacement plan if they manage to get over it. :P I can see Sylvan having some appreciation for this to make a Rank 8 play. The Black Rose thing is a real nice touch too especially on your opponents turn, of course your opponent is going to be very aware when they see a potential Synchro add up to 7. :P I at least know I would. EDIT: Or it may even be too late because this card can carry out the Synch requirements at anytime which could put your opponent in a compromising position... Hmmm. I mean imagine if you had a Plant-Tuner out while they were setting up their field... And all the sudden boom! All their aspirations for that duel was shot down because they disregard that Plant Tuner was there for a reason. People learn, but still brutal.
