Cavalvuster Prevalence, The Prevailing DracoSlayer {Written}

Monster Link 2 (Upper Left, Lower Right)

Earth

1 "DracoSlayer" Pendulum Monster + 1 Pendulum Monster

Once per turn, you can Special Summon 1 "Dracoslayer" Pendulum Monster from your Pendulum Zone to this card's linked Zone. It cannot be used as Link Material for a Link Summon. At the start of the Damage Step, when a monster Linked to this card battles a non- Pendulum monster; Banish that monster, and if you do your opponent takes damage equal to that Monster's Atk.
2050 Atk

There are not many Earth Attribute Pendulum Archetypes to choose from. I used the little known Cavalry archetype that focuses on losing to pendulums in the battle phase. It does the only thing that the DracoSlayer archetype doesn't do, which is spam from the Pend zone. It only has 2 effects like the rest of them so I do think this would be in line with the premise of the DracoSlayer archetype as well.

The main issue I see here is that it conflicts with flavor: the Draconia and Cavalry aren't confirmed to be part of the Dracoslayer universe/storyline so... yeah, flavor-wise it should be impossible for a Dracoslayer to meet Cavalries.

How about matching it with Amorphages, an EARTH Pendulum archetype part of the Dracoslayer universe, instead?

Also, ATK is a bit high for a Link2, considering that so far all the announced and leaked Link2s barely reach the 2000s; except for Aurum which has an ATK-gaining effect, but in exchange it has archetype-specific material requirements. 1950~2150 should be a good number, though.

I changed the Atk, but the archetype stays the same because the Amorphages prevent anything that is not one of them from being summoned. All of the Dracoslayers so far have not actually been a part of the archetypes that the pictures depict. I.e Ignister isn't an Igknight, Dinoster isn't a Dinomist, and Majester isn't a Majesptecter. That fact would make the card impossible to use in the deck itself. I also considered Qliphorts but had the same problem.

Exactly, I meant relating it to Amorphages just by flavor or name, not actually by archetype or as direct support. As you said, just like the other non-Pendulum Dracoslayers, it doesn't have to be actual Amorphage. And it works better because Amorphages are actually part of the Dracoslayer universe, while Qliphorts are from the Duel Terminal world, and Draconians aren't confirmed to be part of any other universe.

You could just rename it as "Amorphaster" or something; you can make the "prevailing" part in the name fit by claiming that it's Luster Pendulum assimilating the amorphage infection, and thus prevailing over it.
