This Archetype is based off of the stories by Arthur Conan Doyle and its characters. As always comments and critiques are much appreciated, Enjoy! [spoiler=Archetype Overview]This Ritual based archetype is all about bringing out the boss monsters with relative ease, each boss monster however first gets summoned to your opponent's side of the field first with some devastating effects and then is special summoned back to your field upon being sent to the grave. [spoiler=monsters] Detective SherhuntDark 4*Beast/EffectWhen this card is summoned, you can add one "Adventures of Sherhunt" Spell/Trap card from your deck to your hand. When this card is sent to the graveyard by card effect, you can banish one "Adventures of Sherhunt" Spell/Trap card from your graveyard and then add this card to your hand. 1500/900 The Main catalyst for the deck, all road lead to and end with Detective Sherhunt. His ability to search out any Adventures of Sherhunt Spell/Trap will help you summon the appropriate ritual monster. Doctor WestinDark 3*Beast/EffectIf you control a face up "Detective Sherhunt", you can special summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can tribute this face up card as the entire tribute for the ritual summon of a "Adventures of Sherhunt" monster.1200/400 Ritual tribute fodder, no way around it. MoriarkittyDark 4*Beast/EffectWhen this card is normal summoned and you and your opponent control no face up monsters, you can special summon one "Detective Sherhunt" from your deck. If you control a face up "Detective Sherhunt", shuffle this card back into your deck.1500/900 Just like any good villain, he lets "Detective Sherhunt" get close before escaping back to deck. Inspector LeeshstradeDark 3*Beast/EffectOnce per turn, when this card is sent to the graveyard, you can add one level 4 or lower Dark Beast type monster from your deck to your hand. the monster searcher of the Archetype. [spoiler= Ritual Monsters]Adventures of Sherhunt: Jack Russel the RipperDark 12*Beast/Ritual/EffectThis card cannot be normal summoned or set, this card must first be special summoned by the effect of "Advenutes of Sherhunt Vol.3 Case of the Ripper". There can only be 1 face up "Adventures of Sherhunt" monster on the field. When this card is summoned destroy all other monsters on your side of the field. while this card is face up, you cannot normal, special summon, or set monsters. During the Damage step, this card gains attack equal to your opponent's monster's level times 500. This card cannot target "Detective Sherhunt" or "Doctor Westin" for attacks. When this card is destroyed by card effect and sent to the graveyard, you can banish 2 Dark Beast type monsters from your graveyard, special summon this card in face up Attack mode with its effects negated.2500/1800 One of the 2 ace monsters of the archetype, while his effect alone might not seem to attractive, its ritual spell allows you to summon it to your opponent's side of the field, effectively locking down their field and possibly any chance of attacking you if you have Detective Sherhunt or Doctor Westin on your side of the field. Adventures of Sherhunt: Alpha Baskerville, CerburusDark 10*Beast/Ritual/EffectThis card cannot be normal summoned or set, this card must first be special summoned by the effect of "Advenutes of Sherhunt Vol.2 Case of the Baskerville". There can only be 1 face up "Adventures of Sherhunt" monster on the field.When this card is summoned destroy all Spell/Traps on your side of the field. while this card is face up, you cannot activate or set Spell/Trap cards. When this card Destroys an monster by battle, your opponent takes damage equal to the monster's level times 500. This card cannot target "Detective Sherhunt" or "Doctor Westin" for attacks. When this card is destroyed by card effect and sent to the graveyard, you can banish 2 Dark Beast type monsters from your graveyard, special summon this card in face up Attack mode with its effects negated.3000/2800The second of the 2 ace monsters, instead of locking your opponent out of summoning, this card locks your opponent out of activating Spells and Traps. [spoiler=Spells]Advenutes of Sherhunt Vol.2 Case of the BaskervilleRitualThis card is used for the ritual summon of "Adventures of Sherhunt: Alpha Baskerville, Cerburus". You must tribute monsters from your hand, or field whose levels equal 10 or more. You can only use this effect once per turn. You can banish this card from your graveyard, target 1 level 4 or lower Dark Beast monster on your side of the field. your opponent cannot target that monster with card effects until the end of your next turn. just a normal ritual spell with the added perk or target protection after use. Advenutes of Sherhunt Vol.3 Case of the RipperRitualThis card is used for the ritual summon of "Adventures of Sherhunt: Jack Russel the Ripper". You must tribute monsters from your hand, or field whose levels equal 12 or more. You can only use this effect once per turn. You can banish this card from your graveyard, target 1 level 4 or lower Dark Beast monster on your side of the field. It can make a second attack this turn. Again, just a ritual spell but it combos nicely with deductive reasoning for a full force direct attack. FetchNormalOnly activate this card, if you control a face up Dark-Beast type monster. pay 800 life points, then randomly add one card from your opponent's hand to yours. just a fun spell based on dogs...you know, since the archtype is a bunch of dogs... Deductive ReasoningContinuousIf your opponent controls a level 5 or higher Dark-Beast type monster, and you control a level 4 or lower Dark-Beast type monster. your monsters can attack your opponent directly but the damage is halved. the final piece of the combo with "Jack Russel", lock your opponent out and then start attacking in full force. Dogland YardFieldAll level 4 or lower Dark-Beast type monsters gain 500 ark and def. During the End phase of the turn you ritual summoned a monster, you can discard one card, add the Ritual Spell card used this turn to your hand. A helpful field spell, it powers up the lower level monster while providing a potential ritual spell recycler for you. traps to be added later!
