Equip Spell

Equip only to a Dragon-type or "Red-Eyes" monster. It gains 700 ATK. If it battles a monster, you can send this card to the Graveyard: it gains ATK equal to half its original ATK + 700 until the End Phase. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can target 1 Level 7 or lower "Red-Eyes" monster in your Graveyard, and 1 card your opponent controls; Special Summon your target, and if you do, banish your opponent's target.

 

I mean equip cards were actually SPELLS FIRST, cmon Konami. Anyway, Gearfried being SS1 means that an actual Spell Speed 1 equip isn't that bad for it, and this lets it be removal without going too far (relative to what we're dealing with, anyway). The ATK boost is more being in-theme-ish than anything else, but honestly I kinda want to incorporate a burn aspect somehwere in here. Oh well, maybe next card.
