ABC Gun
Yeah, because Spellbook need more support. This card gains 2 Spell Counters every time a Spell Card on the field or its effect in the Graveyard activates. If you do activate any other Spellbooks while you control this card face-up, you can remove 3 Spell Counters from your entire field to make sure your opponent cannot negate it. As long as it has 7 or more Spell Counters, you can Normal Summon any Level 5 or higher Spellcasters without Tribute. Just in case it gets MST'd, you can distribute all Spell Counters it had on the field to other cards you control. Each time another Spell Card on the field or its effect in the Graveyard activates, place 2 Spell Counters on this card immediately after it resolves. If you would activate a "Spellbook" Spell Card, except "Spellbook Academy of Endymion", you can first remove 3 Spell Counters from your field, and your opponent cannot activate cards/effects in response to that card's activation if you do. While this card has 7 or more Spell Counters, you can Normal Summon Level 5 and higher Spellcaster-Type monsters without Tributing. If this face-up card on the field is destroyed by a card/effect: Distribute Spell Counters that were on this card to your field.
Darj
Doesn't look that good to me. It competes for the Field Spell Zone with Spellbook Tower, which nets you a card draw in every following turn, and that's stronger than what this card does. Generating Spell Counters is nice and all, but they are inherently unreliable due to the dependence on face-up cards that store them. And just Normal Summoning Level5+ Spellcasters once you gather enough counters... feels underwhelming to me when their main "boss", High Priestess, already has an inherent Summoning condition, and it may not be advisable to run other big Spellcaster for the sake of this card because it is not guaranteed that its effect will be active when you get them on hand. Besides, AFAIK this isn't something that Spellbooks really need. Not to mention that it's missing on flavor as it is not based on any tarot card or grimoire. The activation prevention effect is a cool bonus, but not worth playing this card for it, IMO. Also, due to the timing, you would have to remove the Spell Counters and apply the effect preemptively so the opponent doesn't get the chance of activating anything so... you may end up spending counter unnecessarily in anticipation to a response the opponent may not have at all. It would be better if it also applied on the Summon and effects of Prophecy monsters, to ensure, for instance, that Spellbook Magician gets successfully Normal Summoned, or High Priestess gets Special Summoned or activates its effect without interruptions. All in all, I suggest to make this a Continuous Spell to not clash with the Spellbook Tower, improve the non-response effect, and maybe rework that no-Tributes effect for something that Spellbooks need more. You could even switch the conditions of both effects: make the no-response effect a continuous one while the card has X counters, and remove counters for the no-Tribute effect.
