TheWanderingMist
Sinful Pots An Archetype that completes the Seven Deadly Sins for the Pot cards that began with Pot of Greed. Pot of Greed is obviously a member of the archetype, but it already exists. Each card has an effect that will let you draw 2 cards, with caveats. Sloth is slow, Gluttony negates any advantages you may gain for a while, Wrath needs to commit damage, you have to overcome Lust, Envy takes them from somewhere else, and Pride has huge penalties for not protecting it. Envy is probably the most overpowered of the group and would likely get banned. Not sure how Wrath or Lust would work in the new VRAINS format but the rest would work just fine. SPELL Normal Pot Of Sloth On the 10th turn after this card is activated, draw 2 cards. Explanation: Sloth, the sin of laziness, therefore it’s a super-delayed Pot of Greed. Pot Of Gluttony Draw 2 cards, then discard 2 cards. Cards discarded by this effect do not have their effects activated and cannot activate their effects or be Summoned until the end of your opponent’s 2nd turn after this one. Explanation: Gluttony, the sin of waste, therefore it immediately negates the advantage of the draw and delays them from being Summoned. Pot Of Wrath Special Summon 1 “Wrath” Token (EARTH/Fiend/Level 4/Atk 2000/Def 0) to your side of the field with this effect: When this monster inflicts 2000 or more points of damage to your opponent, draw 2 cards. If this monster is switched to Defense Position, destroy it. Explanation: Wrath, the sin of unrighteous anger. It is the only Pot card that can help you fight your opponent. Pot Of Lust Special Summon 1 “Lust” Token (EARTH/Fiend/Level 6/Atk 0/Def 3500) to your opponent’s side of the field with this effect: As long as this monster is face up on the field, your opponent must select it for attacks. If this card is destroyed by battle, your opponent draws 2 cards. Explanation: Lust, the sin of desire, helps your opponent unless you can destroy it. Pot Of Envy Draw the top 2 cards of your opponent’s Deck. Explanation: Envy, the sin of covetousness. You take something your opponent has, just so they don’t have it. Continuous Pot of Pride Place 1 “Pride” counter on this card during each player’s Standby Phase. While this card is face up on the field, draw 2 cards instead of 1 during your Draw Phase. When this card leaves the field, take 2000 points of damage for each “Pride” counter on it, also, skip your Draw Phase for the next number of turns equal to the number of “Pride” counters that were on this card. Pride, the sin of arrogance. It is the only Pot card to remain on the field and punishes you hard if it leaves in any way.
