Lawless Archetype [Written]

Hi everyone, here is an archetype based upon the Wild West. I look forward to any feedback on the cards I have created so far and possible ideas for new ones.

Daisy – The Doc

 

Light, Level 3

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) While this card is in face-up defense position: Other Lawless monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. You can tribute this card to add 1 Level 7 or lower Lawless monster from your GY to your hand. You can only control one face-up copy of Daisy – The Doc on the field.

 

ATK: 1000, DEF: 2000

 

Lawless Cowgirl

 

Earth, Level 3

Warrior, Effect

 

When this card is summoned from the hand: You can special summon one Lawless Gunslinger or Lawless Cowboy from your hand or deck to the field in face-up Defense position.

 

ATK: 1400, DEF: 1600

 

Lucky Layla

 

Earth, Level 5

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Once per turn, if a Lawless monster you control other than this card would be destroyed by a card effect you may roll a die and activate the corresponding effect:

1 or 3: The monster is not destroyed.

2, 5, or 6: The monster is destroyed, and you take 500LP damage.

4: You can destroy 1 monster your opponent controls instead.

You can only control one face-up copy of Lucky Layla on the field.

Loretta – The Quick

 

Wind, Level 6

Warrior, Tuner

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This card can be special summoned from your hand by discarding 1 Lawless card and 1 other card from your hand to the GY. You cannot Synchro Summon or Xyz summon monsters this turn except for Lawless monsters. You can only control one face-up copy of Loretta – The Quick on the field.

Isabel – The Raven

 

Dark, Level 4

Warrior, Tuner

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Face-down monsters you control cannot be targeted for an attack while this card is face-up on the field. Twice per turn during either players’ turn: You can banish this card until the end of the current phase (once per phase). You can only control one face-up copy of Isabel – The Raven on the field.

 

ATK: 1800, DEF: 1000

 

Sara – The Night Rider

 

Dark, Level 4

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Once per turn you can banish this card you control from the field until the main phase of your next turn to activate one of the following effects:

  1. Lawless monsters you control gain 300 ATK/DEF.
  2. Flip one card on the field face-down: that card cannot be activated or flipped face-up until the end of this turn.

You can only control one face-up copy of Sara – The Night Rider on the field.

Lizzie Longshot

 

Earth, Level 4

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Once per turn you can pay 2000LP, look at your opponent’s hand: You can destroy one card from their hand (You can only activate the effect of monsters with this cards’ name once per turn) You can only control one face-up copy of Lizzie Longshot on the field.

Bullseye Becky

 

Earth, Level 5

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) You can normal summon this card from your hand without tributing, if you do, take 1000LP damage. Once per turn, you can put a Bullseye Counter on target monster your opponent controls. If this card destroys a monster by battle, you can send 1 monster your opponent controls that has a Bullseye Counter on it to the GY. You can only control one face-up copy of Bullseye Becky on the field.

Lucy - The Lustful

 

Dark, Level 3

Fiend, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) During each of your Standby phases: Inflict 500LP damage to your opponent. During either players’ turn your opponent can tribute this card: you draw 1 card, then discard a card. When this card is tributed by your opponent: Inflict 500LP damage to your opponent. You can only control one face-up copy of Lucy – The Lustful on the field.

 

ATK: 1400, DEF: 1000

 

Bullet Bessie

Earth, Level 4

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) You can special summon this card by discarding 1 Lawless monster, if you do, draw 1 card. You can normal summon or set a Lawless monster once more in addition to your normal summon or set. You can only control one face-up copy of Bullet Bessie on the field. You cannot special summon other monsters the turn you activate this effect.

 

ATK: 1700, DEF: 1200

 

Naughty Nicki

 

Water, Level 6

Warrior, Tuner

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This card can be special summoned from your hand by returning 2 Lawless cards you control and 1 other card on the field to the hand (if the other card is controlled by your opponent, take 1000LP of damage and banish it instead). You cannot Synchro Summon or Xyz summon monsters this turn except for Lawless monsters. You can only control one face-up copy of Naughty Nicki on the field.

 

ATK: 2000, DEF: 2300

 

Amanda – The Angel

 

Light, Level 8

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This card cannot be special summoned. If this card is tribute summoned using a Lawless monster, you can normal summon this card with 1 monster. When this card is normal summoned or flipped face-up: Special summon 1 Level 7 or lower Lawless monster from your GY or hand to the field. You can only control one face-up copy of Amanda – The Angel on the field.

 

ATK: 2000, DEF: 2700

 

Jessi – The Wild

 

Dark, Level 9

Warrior, Synchro Tuner

1 Tuner Lawless monster + 1 or more non-tuner Lawless monsters

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) All Lawless monsters you control gain 500 ATK/DEF. When another Lawless monster you control is destroyed by battle or card effect, you can pay 500LP: Destroy the card that destroyed the monster. This card cannot be targeted by card effects. You can only control one face-up copy of Jessi – The Wild on the field.

Crimson Cassidy

 

Fire, Level 6

Warrior, Tuner

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This card can be special summoned from your hand by sending 3 Lawless cards on field you control to the GY. You cannot Synchro Summon or Xyz summon monsters this turn except for Lawless monsters. Once per turn, you can pay 500LP: Inflict 1000LP of damage to your opponent. You can only control one face-up copy of Crimson Cassidy on the field.

Hellrider Haley

 

Dark, Level 8

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This card cannot be special summoned. If this card is tribute summoned using a Lawless monster, you can normal summon this card with 1 monster. When this card is normal summoned or flipped face-up: Send 1 Level 7 or lower Lawless monster from your deck or hand to the GY; draw 1 card; then discard a card; then both players take 500LP of damage. You can only control one face-up copy of Hellrider Haley on the field.

Scarlet – The Stormrider

 

Dark, Level 7

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) If this card is special summoned from your GY you can send 1 card on the field to the GY. This monster can attack twice per turn, if it does, it cannot attack your opponent directly this turn. You can only control one face-up copy of Scarlet – The Stormrider on the field.

Jezebel – The Fiend

 

Dark, Level 12

Warrior, Synchro

1 Lawless Synchro Tuner monster + 1 non-tuner Lawless monster

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This card can only be Synchro summoned and cannot be summoned any other ways except by its own effect. When this card is Synchro summoned: You can banish up to 1 card each from the field, either players’ hand, and either players’ GY face-down. This monster cannot be targeted by your opponents’ card effects. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect you can banish 1 Lawless monster you control or in your hand face-down: Special summon this card from wherever it was sent. You can only control one face-up copy of Jezebel – The Fiend on the field.

Rylee – The Righteous

 

Light, Level 12

1 Lawless Synchro Tuner monster + 1 non-tuner Lawless monster

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This card can only be Synchro summoned and cannot be summoned any other ways except by its own effect. When this card is Synchro summoned: You can special summon up to 1 monster each from your deck, hand, and either players’ GY. This monster cannot be destroyed by your opponents’ card effects. If this card is destroyed, you can discard 1 Lawless card in your hand: Shuffle up to 5 Lawless cards and/or face-down banished cards you control into your deck; then draw 1 card. You can only control one face-up copy of Rylee – The Righteous on the field.

Eva – End of the West

 

Dark, Link 6

Warrior, Link

At least 2 Lawless monsters and at least 1 Lawless Link monster (this is included in the 2).

Link markers: Top left, Top, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom, Bottom Right

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) When this card is Link Summoned: Pay half your LP: Send all cards on the field except for this card and any monsters linked to this card to the GY. You can send one monster you control that is linked with this card to the GY: Inflict 500LP of damage to your opponent. You can only control one face-up copy of Eva – End of the West on the field.

When this card is summoned from the hand: You can special summon one Lawless Cowboy or Lawless Cowgirl from your hand or deck to the field in Attack position.

When this card is summoned from the hand: You can special summon one Lawless Gunslinger or Lawless Cowgirl from your hand or deck to the field in face-up Defense position.

Lawless Bounty Hunter

 

Earth, Rank 3

Warrior, Xyz

2 Level 3 Lawless Monsters

 

When this card is Xyz summoned: Look at the top 3 cards of your deck, add 1 to your hand and banish the other two face-down. Once per turn, during either player’s turn you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card: Place 1 Mark Counter on target monster your opponent controls. Monsters with Mark Counters on them lose 500 ATK/DEF. While this card is face-up on the field: Twice per turn, when a Lawless monster you control destroys a monster with a Mark Counter on it by battle or card effect; you can activate this effect: draw 1 card; then discard a card.

Samuel – The Merciless

 

Earth, Level 7

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) When this card destroys a monster your opponent controls and inflicts battle damage to your opponent, this monster can attack once again in a row (this effect can be activated up to 2 times per turn). This card inflicts piercing damage. You can only control one face-up copy of Samuel – The Merciless on the field.

 

ATK: 2800, DEF: 2400

 

Elijah – The Gambler

 

Earth, Level 3

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Once per turn, during either players’ turn you can flip 3 coins and activate the corresponding effect(s) but you cannot activate other cards or effects in response to this cards’ effect:

 

No Heads: Destroy this card.

1+ Heads: This card gains 500 ATK.

1+ Tails: This card gains 500 DEF

At least 1 Heads and 1 Tails: This card cannot be destroyed by battle this turn.

2 Heads: This card cannot be destroyed by card effects this turn.

2 Tails: This card can attack twice this turn.

3 Heads: This card is unaffected by your opponents’ card effects until the end of the turn.

You can only control one face-up copy of Elijah – The Gambler on the field.

 

ATK: 1000, DEF: 1000

 

Vincent - The Tracker

Earth, Level 4

Warrior, Tuner

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Once per turn, you can look at the top 3 cards of your deck, add 1 Lawless card to your hand (if any), then shuffle the rest back into your deck. You cannot special summon any monsters from your extra deck the turn you activate this effect. You can only control one face-up copy of Vincent – The Tracker on the field.

 

ATK: 1900, DEF: 1000

 

Max - The Mad

 

Dark, Level 1

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) You can discard this card to the GY: Send 1 card on the field to the GY, if you do, inflict 500LP of damage to that cards’ controller. You can only control one face-up copy of Max – The Mad on the field.

 

ATK: 0, DEF: 0

 

Dexter - The Demon

 

Dark, Level 5

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) You can normal summon this card without tributing, if you do, lose 1000LP when it leaves the field. You can tribute this card you control on the field: Your opponent discards 1 random card from their hand to the GY; then activate the following effect depending on the type of card sent:

Monster: Your opponent draws 1 card.

Spell: Inflict 500LP of damage to your opponent.

Trap: Your opponent cannot declare an attack during their next turn.

You can only control one face-up copy of Dexter – The Demon on the field.

 

ATK: 1900, DEF: 0

 

Creed - The Coward

 

Light, Level 5

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This monster cannot attack. If this card would be targeted for a card effect or by battle you can change the target to one other Lawless monster you control instead. You can only control one face-up copy of Creed – The Coward on the field.

 

ATK: 2000, DEF: 1200

 

Gold Tooth Gordon

 

Earth, Level 4

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) When this monster inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Draw 1 card; then you can discard 1 card, if you do, your opponent discards 1 card. You can only control one face-up copy of Gold Tooth Gordon on the field.

 

ATK: 1550, DEF:1400

 

Ambush Adam

 

Earth, Level 3

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) When an opponents’ monster declares a direct attack: You can discard this card; negate that attack. You can banish this card from your GY (except during the turn it was sent to the GY) to negate one of your opponents’ attacks and end the battle phase (you can only use this effect once per duel). This card cannot be used for the tribute summon or special summon of a monster except for a Lawless monster. You can only control one face-up copy of Ambush Adam on the field.

Lawrence - The Immortal

 

Dark, Level 4

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) If you control no other face-up cards on the field, and your opponent controls more cards than you do, you can special summon this card from your GY in defense position (this effect can only be used once per turn). You can only control one face-up copy of Lawrence – The Immortal on the field.

 

ATK: 1900, DEF: 1400

 

Billy – The Banker

 

Earth, Level 4

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Once per turn, you can place 1 counter that is the same as one already on the field on an appropriate target. You can only control one face-up copy of Billy – The Banker on the field.

 

ATK: 1600, DEF: 1900

 

Danny Dawnrider

 

Earth, Level 7

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) If this card is special summoned from your GY you can send 1 Lawless card from your deck to the GY. If this monster attacks a face-up defense position monster your opponent controls, you can destroy that monster at the beginning of the damage step. You can only control one face-up copy of Danny Dawnrider on the field.

 

ATK: 2300, DEF: 2600

 

Jacob – The Justice Bringer

 

Light, Level 7

Warrior, Effect

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) If this card is special summoned from your GY you can send 1 Lawless card from your hand to the GY, if you do, both players send the top 3 cards of their decks to the GY. If this monster attacks a monster your opponent controls that has a higher ATK than this cards’ DEF, you can send that monster to the GY at the beginning of the damage step, if you do, banish that monster at the end of the battle phase. You can only control one face-up copy of Jacob – The Justice Bringer on the field.

 

ATK: 2400, DEF: 2800

 

Benjamin – Beginning of the East

At least 2 Lawless monsters and at least 1 Lawless Tuner monster (this is included in the 2).

Link markers: Top left, Top Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Right

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) When this card is Link Summoned: Pay half your LP: Draw cards equal to the number of monsters you control linked to this card. Monsters you control that are linked with this card cannot be targeted or destroyed by your opponents’ card effects. You can only control one face-up copy of Benjamin – Beginning of the East on the field.

Lucas – The Lone Rider

 

Dark, Rank 7

Warrior, Xyz

2 or more Level 7 Lawless monsters

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) When this card is Xyz summoned; detach 1 Xyz material from this card: destroy all other cards you control on the field, and banish cards on your opponents’ side of the field face-down equal to half the number of Lawless cards destroyed rounded down. You can detach all Xyz materials from this card and tribute this card, if you do, banish an equal number of cards face-down from the top of your opponents’ deck. You can only control one face-up copy of Lucas – The Lone Rider on the field.

 

ATK: 3000, DEF: 1600

 

Lawless Sheriff

 

Earth, Level 7

Warrior, Effect

 

This card cannot be normal summoned/set. This card can only be special summoned by banishing the top 5 cards of your deck face-down and cannot be summoned any other ways. This monster gains 200 ATK/DEF for each card that is banished face-down. You can activate up to 2 of the following effects per turn but only once each per turn:

  1. Special summon 1 Level 4 or lower Lawless monster from your hand; if you do, you cannot summon any monsters this turn except for Lawless monsters.
  2. Add 1 Level 4 or higher Lawless monster from your deck to your hand; if you do, you cannot summon any monsters this turn except for Lawless monsters.
  3. Special summon 1 Level 7 Lawless monster from your GY; if you do, you cannot summon any monsters this turn except for Lawless monsters.

If this card leaves the field: Shuffle up to 10 random face-down cards from both players’ banished zones into their respective decks’ (each player must shuffle an equal number of cards into the deck if possible); then both players draw 1 card.

Pay 1000LP: Add 1 Lawless Sheriff from your deck or GY to your hand.

 

Lawless County

Field Spell

 

You can skip your normal draw during your draw phase and pay 300LP, if you do: Look at the top 3 cards of your deck and 1 to your hand, and shuffle the rest into the deck. You cannot activate or summon non-Lawless cards the turn you activate this effect. When a Lawless monster you control is sent from the field to the GY (except by tribute, tribute summon, or special summon): Add 1 Lawless monster with a level equal to or lower than the sent card from your deck to your hand. When this card is sent to the GY; you can banish the top 3 cards of both players’ decks face-down, if you do, add 1 Lawless Spell or Trap card from your deck to your hand.

 

Lucky Dice

 

Equip Spell

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This card can only be equipped to a Lawless monster you control. The equipped monster gains 500 ATK. If the equipped monster is Lucky Layla, that monster gains the following effect: The effect of this monster effects itself as well. You can send two Lawless Spell/Trap cards from your hand or the field to the GY including this card, if you do, add 1 Lawless Spell/Trap card from your deck to your hand.

 

Target Practice

 

Normal Trap

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) You can only activate this card during your battle phase: Special summon 1 Target Token (Rock-Type/ EARTH/ Level 1/ ATK 0/ DEF 0) to your opponents’ side of the field in defense position.

 

Lawless Looting

 

Continuous Spell

 

When a Lawless monster you control destroys a monster by battle or card effect, you can roll a dice to activate the corresponding effect:

  1.  Draw 1 card.
  2.  Gain 500LP.
  3.  Draw 1 card, then discard 1 card.
  4. Destroy 1 card you control.
  5. You take 500LP of damage.
  6. Discard 1 card.

Lawless Heist

 

Normal Trap

 

Activate only while you control 3 or more Lawless monsters on the field with different names and levels: Take control of 1 card your opponent controls.

 

Lawless Bounty Board

 

Continuous Spell

 

Once per turn, the turn player can target 1 card on the field and place a Bounty Counter on it. If a card with a Bounty Counter on it is destroyed: The player who destroyed it can choose one of the following effects to activate:

  1. Draw 1 card
  2.  Target 1 player: Inflict 500LP of damage to that player.

 

Lawless Protection

 

Continuous Trap

 

You cannot be the target of Spell/Trap cards controlled by your opponent. During your Standby phase: Pay 1000LP; if you cannot, destroy this card.

 

Lawless Revolver

 

Equip Spell

 

This card can only be equipped to a Lawless monster you control. The equipped monster gains 500 ATK. If the equipped monster is Loretta – The Quick, Lizzie Longshot, Bullet Bessie, or Bullseye Becky, that monster gains the following effect: Once, when the equipped monster attacks, you can destroy the targeted monster without applying damage calculation.

 

Lawless Bank

 

Continuous Spell

 

Whenever you draw a card during your normal draw phase: Put a Cash Counter on this card. You can remove any number of Cash Counters from this card to apply the corresponding effect:

1: Discard 1 card, then draw 1 card.

2: Draw 1 card, then discard 1 card.

3: Draw 1 card.

4: Draw 2 cards.

5: Draw 3 cards.

 

Pay Day

 

Normal Trap

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Add 1 counter of an appropriate type that a Lawless card could add (e.g., Bullseye, Bounty, Cash Counter) to an appropriate target except for a Heist counter.

 

Rob The Bank

 

Normal Trap

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Send 1 Billy – The Banker and 1 Lawless Bank from either side of the field to the GY: Redistribute all counters that a Lawless card could add to new appropriate targets; also add 1 Heist counter to target card your opponent controls. When a card with a Heist counter is removed from the field: Put that card on the field under your control.

 

Fan The Hammer

 

Quick-Play Spell

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) This card can be activated during either players’ battle phase: Target a number of cards equal to the number of Lawless monsters you control, destroy those cards; also take 500LP of damage for each card destroyed by this effect.

 

Pork & Beans

 

Normal Trap

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Activate only while you control 3 or more face-up Lawless cards on the field: Gain 1500LP.

 

Painful Remedy

 

Counter Trap

 

(This card is always treated as a Lawless card) Activate only when you would take 2000LP of damage or more at one time: Take half of that amount of damage instead; inflict 1000LP of damage to your opponent. During the end of this turn; gain 1000LP.

 

Lawless Betrayal

 

Counter Trap

 

Activate only when a Lawless monster you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect: Target 1 other Lawless monster you control; that monster is destroyed instead.
