Dokutah
Ley Librarian LIGHT / Spellcaster / Link / Effect[ Bottom Left, Left ] 2 Monsters with Different NamesWhile this Link Summoned card is face up, neither player can activate Spell/Trap cards from their hand except in the Field Spell Zones, Pendulum Zones and Spell/Trap Card Zones in columns whose Monster Zones are occupied by a monster they control. ATK 2000 / LINK 2 so yeah a Double edged-floodgate-esque Generic Link 2 Monster that further promote the importance of card positioning as well aiding such cards (well the ones that deal with S/T for this guy). its basically design in perspective of Konami kinda really trying make Column//Row//Senet mechanic (well also Link Monster) relevant lately and putting the real danger on Column based cards (like making Shut Line more predictable but also more precise on what you want to negate). Darj
I think the text can be improved a bit:While this Link Summoned card is face up, neither player can activate Spell/Trap cards from their hand except in the Field Spell Zones, Pendulum Zones and Spell/Trap Card Zones in columns whose Monster Zones are occupied by a monster they control. This card can only be Summoned on your Extra Monster Zone once per Duel. Now, I'm not too keen on the hard OPD on the Summon clause; I'm not really against OPDs but still, they are frowned upon and I see them as more of a last resort to keep an effect on check, but in this card's case... I dare to say it isn't even needed: Summoning this in the Extra Monster Zone more than once per duel shouldn't be a problem; or at least I don't see how it would be. I mean, it locks 3 Spell/Trap Zones at best, and the opponent can resort to swarming a bit to unlock its Spell/Trap Zones, play or Set its cards, and then continue with Extra Deck plays and stuff. The rest traits of the card look good: I like that its makers let it open Zones in both the Extra Monster and Main Monster Zones, the flexible material requirement is welcomed, and 2000 ATK is solid for a Link2.
